Despite having been to other IMAX theatres this was my first visit to the Melbourne IMAX theatre. We went on a Sunday morning in the Christmas school holidays (January) and it was surprisingly quiet. We arrived 30 minutes early as I hadn't booked online but...More

I had been to imax years ago to see a documentary...this was my first Hollywood blockbuster on the massive screen. Saw The Hobbit in 3D. This was also my first 3D cinema experience...and it was OK....the picture was generally crisp and clear. The high frame...More

Love watching the move on this urge screen. Only down side was the price of the tickets and uncomfortable seating but don't let that stop you, you'll love it. Takes a little while for you eyes to adjust.

With the worlds 3rd largest screen. I found it reasonably priced. But with V Lounge you have a choice. Not a huge range of movies, I would use it as a combo when attending a museum. Good value for money. My visit was okay.
