We had a wonderful day, starting at about 7-7:30am with an 1.5h drive and a lot of informative and funny stories told by our awesome guide Paul. The first stop was for morningtea at a nice beach where it was just us. There were biscuits, timtams and vegemite for everyone to try. After that we startet our way on the... More

We had the pleasure of having Paul as our tour guide on the 16 July 2016. When the black Mercedes Sprinter picked us up, I was skeptical about how one man can handle 11 of us, turns out he can, and he's extremely good at it. The first key to a wonderful tour is a wonderful vehicle, and it was... More

We had a long, but fabulous day touring the Great Ocean Road with Scott as our tour guide. We enjoyed his witty humor and vast knowledge and insight of the area. The van holds 11 guests, so the tour was more of a boutique tour which is what we were looking for. We had morning tea at a picnic table... More

We had the tremendous privilege of having Paul be our guide for the day tour to the Great ocean road. His infectious energy and humor were certainly one of the highlights of the trip! From the morning till the evening, he had a miraculous way of making everyone feel at ease with each other, which made it much easier for... More

We had a wonderful day at the great ocean road with Paul. Unlike other cookie-cutter tour agencies, Paul shows genuine warmth and care towards his guests. He had even tirelessly prepared morning tea for us. We thoroughly enjoyed his humour during the long drives in and out of the great ocean road. Lunch and dinner were delicious too. Highly recommend... More

In planning an upcoming trip to Australia, I am relying heavily on Trip Advisor. After reading all the highly complimentary reviews for Escape Discovery Adventures, I tried to book a Great Ocean Road tourwith Paul Anderson at Escape Discovery Adventures. Mr. Anderson responded promptly, saying that he was booked for the dates I needed but made another recommendation and offered... More

West of Melbourne you will encounter the great Ocean Road. There is a bypass around Geelong and then head towards Barwon Heads, From there you travel through Torquay, Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay through to Warrnambool. After Apollo Bay there is the Otaway Ranges, full of water falls and a magic tree walk, then around Pt Campbell you will discover the... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
