My family surprised me for my birthday with the Extreme Light Tour with Greg which included both his day and night photo tours. I am currently studying photography through an online course, and it was great to be able to marry together what I have been learning with some extra tips and tricks about my camera that I didn’t know.... I took a daytime tour with Greg and had a great time. He took time to figure out what i needed and made up the tour accordingly. It was so much fun and it also gave me a view of inner city Melbourne that I had not seen before. Highly recommended.

The Melbourne Photo tour with Greg is a fantastic experience. My day started at 1.30pm at flinders street station and meandered through the interesting lanes and sites of Melbourne. A quick stop for dinner and then off to take photos of Melbourne at night. We spent more than eight hours with Greg learning how to become a better photographer. I... More

I took my Melbourne Photo Tour with Greg on about a 2 degree Celsius cold August morning. I was fortunate enough to be the sole participant that morning so had's Greg full and undivided attention for the duration of the tour. I live in Melbourne but he still managed to show me parts of the city I didn't know existed.... More

My wife gave me a one to one photographic tour with Greg for my birthday. We met at Flinders station at 6.30pm as I love night landscape photography. Greg was able to take me to the best possible view of the city and advice me on some great composition for my shots. His expertise was invaluable and I would highly... More

Had a really great private walk with Greg Currier web site - http://melbournephototours.com/. The personal photography trip started at Flinders Station and we walked up the street with the graffiti and wound around streets to the Parliament buildings. The weather was overcast and drizzly so the reflections and colours were excellent. We did this tour back in January, actually it was Australia day which shows Greg’s impressive dedication for sharing his knowledge in photography. Greg is a very easy going guy and adapts the tour based on the participants wishes and prior experiences/knowledge. We found the tour very interesting and enjoyable as it wasn’t focused on the hardcore technical stuff, rather... More

I just did the tour on the weekend, basically Greg is great. He is such an easy person to work with and being a complete beginner, you don't feel intimiated. He also let me bring a friend along which was really nice and I appreciated that as some of the other tours don't let you do that. I learnt some... More

I went on a tour with Greg this morning around melbourne cbd. After Greg gained a basic understanding of what level I was at with my photography and what I hoped to gain from the tour, we set off. Greg has you view melbourne itself and photography view points from a whole new level. He takes you on a trip... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
