I spend a lot of time in aircraft for work, my family for a present sent me to Flight Experience for a gift, so instead of being the passenger in the back I could be the captain up front, this is a well worth experience, the staff are helpfully and friend and just want you to have the best experience... It's very realistic & if you want to learn & improve, it's quite demanding. But you could relax & just go with the flow if that's your thing. Instructor is very clear & adapts to your pace. Great fun also for the family or friend "passenger" who can see everything happening. Have wanted to do it for years & wonder... More

If you're interested in what's happening up front of your B737, this is a great experience. The pilots are really good and happy to explain exactly what's going on.

I've been back to Flight Experience twice now and love it. The Captains I had both times were very friendly and informative. I was able to have as much or as little control of the aircraft as I wanted. The Captains both explained how to steer the plane to taxi on to the runway...not as simple as you think! The... More

Although this was my husband’s birthday present, given some months ago, we didn’t get around to booking until two weeks before Christmas… and were pleasantly surprised to find that there were specials on offer for Christmas! We saved $50 on a 1-hour flight. As we were in the city, we booked in person; the initial booking was completed efficiently and... More

Experienced flying a Boeing 767, instructions were very informative and there was enough detail to take off and land. A brilliant experience and would do this again.

This is an amazing experience for those interested in flying as you get to "captain" a 737-800. You sit in the simulator cockpit and as you look out the cockpit window it looks like you really are flying. I chose to take off and land at Auckland airport and it really is the Auckland landscape. Then I flew from the... More

It was a birthday gift for our 8 year old son. Having chosen this over a party with his mates, he enjoyed the experience throughly. Tom, who was the instructor was great and managed to squeeze in 3 take offs and landings in 45 minutes.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
