This was my second visit here and the displays were all different and change regularly. The highlight is the enclosed room with music and some background about the Sunbury festival. So well done. It gave me goosebumps. Free to get into as well. Will definitely visit again when in Melbourne.

Wonderful memories of the Australian music scene. A little something for everyone’s taste. The costumes are amazing. Would have certainly liked it to be a bit bigger but definitely an enjoyable experience.

Such a great place to go and so much to learn. It's always changing which I love. And it's FREE. Not a lot you can say that about. I love that you can take your time and are never rushed.

The Music Vault has a wide range of musicians and bands, from AC/DC to the Wiggles. Apart from music, there is a lot of memorabilia, which will bring back fond memories for many visitors.

Good way to soak up a bit of time seeing some rare gems of Australia music history, best thing is it is free!

I like popping into this if I have a spare 30 minutes in the city. (If it's your first time you'll need longer.) It's fascinating collection of Australian music memorabilia, and interesting for all ages. Music, outfits, sheet music, instruments - and always something new to look at.

This exhibition is wonderful. We bought the card for $2 but had no real idea how it all worked. It would be most beneficial if there was a detailed explanation about how it works at each "station" as you go. We would have loved to included some of the music at the video areas - such as Paul Kelly's. Donation definitely required after the visit.

I would say an hour to truly enjoy it. You can buy a AMV mix card to make your own mix of music and there are also several videos to watch if interested.
