Had an awesome time at Bartronica for a unique date night idea with the Mrs - highly recommend for all the retro nerd couples out there! Huge range of games, ranging from really early arcade machines like Ms Pac-Man & Donkey Kong, through to 90s game machines like Time Crisis and a massive range of pinball machines. Cool booths with N64 and PlayStation consoles, will definitely book one of those in with a slightly bigger group in future! Great idea and really well executed :)

Visited during the arvo while on holiday with wife. Staff were excellent, game options great (with a lot being free consoles). Cocktail was well made and on tap beer had good selection. Place has a real nice retro vibe going.

This bar opens at 3PM and is not easily found. There is no prominent signage out the front so look carefully at the doors of places and use google maps to make it easier. Once inside, this is something uniquely different. A bar full of arcade and pinball machines. You buy tokens (at $1 each) from a machine on the wall and these are used to activate games. Great place to spend a few hours if the weather is wet.

This is a fantastic place to hang out in Melbourne, whether it’s for the afternoon or on a night out. Always got a good relaxed atmosphere. The range of arcade machines is perfect. All the classics, so there is always a chance you’ll find your old favourite here. Personally I always love the classic Donkey Kong, or with friends a game of Ninja Turtles or Mortal Kombat. Plus you have Daytona or a bunch of pinball machines as well. What’s especially cool is that these are all original, well maintained machines. No reproductions to be found here. So it’ll take you right back to your childhood.
