Good place to stroll
Nov 2021
Walking around Constitution Dock on a sunny day, the view of the harbour, marina, buildings and general scenery are very calming. Constitution Dock is famous of being the end of the annual Sydney to Hobart yacht race and, although small, the Dock is worth a visit.

Port in the center of Hobart. Good restaurant / eatery area.
Jul 2021
Most people know Constitution dock as the end port for the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, it is mostly used by private boats and a fishing boats. It is slap bang in the center of the city, right on the waterfront.
It has plenty of restaurants around and actually on it, floating take away's / restaurants, ice creamery.
It has a draw bridge which mainly stays closed for pedestrians / vehicular access.
there is a 1899 steam crane by the drawbridge for tourists to see.
There is plenty of hotels nearby and also plenty of paid parking in the area of you want to park your car when visiting.
There wasn't much happening when we visited due to Covid 19 restrictions stopping visitors accessing Tasmania at the time.
Make it a part of your visit when in Hobart.

Amazing sunrise
Apr 2021
We stayed in Somerset on the Pier so had amazing views over dock. It was beautiful during the day but it came to life at night when it all lit up and the next morning the sunrise over the dock was amazing. Beautiful spot and I could only imagine the amazing vibe when Sydney to Hobart race is on there.

A great place to walk around to see the dock, the sculptures, the floating food trucks and restaurants and the history. The old buildings and history sets the tone and is a fabulous place to walk around in Hobart.

A lot to see
Apr 2021
From the yachts and boats moored, the brass sculptures, the old buildings and the historic details written on signs and on brass means there is a lot to see at Constitution Dock. The Mona Ferry terminal is on Brooke Pier and it has a lovely cafe and Tasmanian craft and produce stalls. Fish restaurants and floating fish shops on the dock guarantee that you can get a good fish feed.

Must Do when you're in Hobart
Apr 2021
Home of the Sydney to Hobart finish line, Salamanca Markets, Mona Ferries, it's always bustling. A great place to wander around and see the sites around the harbour.
