Take a walk at this stretch at Hampden Road. It's a good stroll for couples or friends and take snow photos but forget it if you are with kids or blind to architectures like me. If you drive, there are numerous road side parking so you can drive through and stop when you need. You can stop for numerous restaurants... More

This old historic area of Hobart is good for a short walk around the streets. Excellent old buildings and good views. In easy walking distance from the central sites.

We visited Battery Point on our guided bus tour. A very picturesque, serene and relaxing area with unspoilt scenery! This is one of the many areas of Hobart and it's surrounds that is so beautiful and unique!

We were staying in Battery Point just behind Salamanca. One morning we walked following the sculpture trail through Battery Point down to Sandy Bay. Loved the little cottages, grand sea feathers homes, the stories behind the sculpture and the beautiful cottage gardens with an abundance of flowering roses.

Has to be included in any scenic tour of Hobart. Thoroughly enjoyed the view. Happy that our tour guide included this stop for photo ops.
