Step inside Australia's oldest operating brewery, nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Wellington, to learn how Cascade has been crafting beer since 1832. Our guides will share Cascade's fabled recipe; a dash of history, a healthy dose of Tasmania's finest ingredients and a generous serve of brewing craft. You can take a tour or just relax and enjoy Cascade beers and Mercury ciders, savour a delicious lunch and wander our three acres of heritage gardens. The Visitor Centre is open 7 days a week between 10am - 5pm, excluding Good Friday and Christmas day and tours operate daily.

How could you go to Hobart and not pop into the Brewery? We enjoyed a cheese platter with a couple of beers/ciders for lunch. Recommended.

Cascade Brewery is the oldest brewery in Australia and you are allowed to have 4 free drinks after the tour, unfortunately if you are by yourself like I was you don't get anything because they don't allow you to take it with you. : (...More

We went on a sunny Sunday afternoon and had a drink in the gardens with a live jazz band playing. Was just a lovely atmosphere, nice gardens and hills around with the famous old brewery in the background too.

Called in for lunch at the Brewery (we did not have time for the tour) The meal we had was beautiful, and the surroundings on a hot Hobart day were lovely. If in Hobart would definitely recommend this spot for lunch

It would be no problem to use the tokens with lunch as it is basically all the same area. It is a very nice space looking out onto the stunning gardens so I am sure you will enjoy it!
