We booked a trip from Hobart with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys and as soon as we got on the bus, it was on with driver and tour guide Fran, who was fantasticly bubbly and very knowledgable on the surroundings we travelled through to get to our destination. The drive down to Kettering was great and the trip on the ferry was... More

We paid $270 to go on this 3 hour cruise. It was bad weather which the company can't control but they should have cancelled. The seas were too rough and people got motion sickness. We were unable to complete what they normally do on this trip. The coastline is brilliant but apart form that I was thinking " I wish this... More

We went on the full day Bruny Island cruise with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys and it was one of the best, if not the best, organised day trips we have ever been on. The weather was overcast, windy, with hints of rain and the company gave everyone the option of cancelling their booking or continuing - we chose the latter and... More

My husband and I went on the gourmet delight day trip to Bruny Island. The trip was very informative and the guide knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this trip as value for money.

It is weather dependent but....great staff who go out of their way to provide a fantastic experience. Highly likely you will see whales breaching close to your boat, seals frolicking as well as stunning scenery. Dress warm and don't front with a hangover as the ride can be a bit rough if there is a swell. It's a must do... More

Great day out starting from Hobart where the company's bus takes you on the ferry over to Bruny Island. Very friendly staff and the commentary is informative and humorous. Morning tea at the cafe on the island before the boat trip was a muffin and coffee, just enough before getting on board. Be warned ... rug up! They do supply... More

And we would not have gone on this tour if the owner had not said that 99.9% of people enjoy the trip when they head out in these conditions. That's my beef with them as that's just not true. 4-5 metre swell, too rough to see anything, too rough for any commentary, freezing cold and wet...the poor crew were just... More

We did the three hour tour from adventure bay and really enjoyed it. Spectacular scenery, abundant wildlife and a very professional tour company. Fresh blueberry muffins and tea or coffee were available before departure. Helpful commentary was provided on the trip, along with a very useful full length spray poncho, and sea sick pills were on offer if needed. Although... More
