Adrenaline fix for any trip to Hobart. Breathtaking views on the way up, at the top and, if you aren't too scared, on the way down too. Great guides, good quality bikes, easy to book and arrange and good value.

It was a great tour with amazing views. And you got to see and learn about Tassie. The guides were really helpful and it's great for all level of riding experience.

Such a great way to start the day. You get taken up to the top of Mt Wellington in a minivan and then you're kitted up and you cycle all the way down to the bottom. The bikes are proper off-road bikes although you need not do any off-road cycling. You are given a helmet, gloves and jacket. The bikes... More

Up you go in a van pulling a trailer of mountain bikes to the top of Mt. Wellington. Fabulous views of the city and harbor below as well as the opportunity to go to the Visitor Center before hearing the safety talk and biking instructions. Not much peddling to do, mainly keeping in line and braking, but we had several... More

This was a great tour. The weather however was not in our favor. By the time we got to the top of the mountain the weather had set in and it was rainy and the fog had set in. We were provide with wet weather and Hi Vis gear to wear for the ride. The bikes were Norco Storms and... More

What a unique way to experience Mount Wellington. This company is extremely professional and they pay a lot of attention to safety. There is a safety vehicle that follows you so cars know to expect you and a bike leader that controls the pace and indicates the stop breaks. I had no concerns for the duration of the trip. Although... More

Excellent tour, guides friendly and approachable, made everyone feel part of the group, good advice for 'newbies' for tackling each part of the ride. Worth it just for the trip up! The ride down was spectacular, not to difficult, but with some sections that were challenging.

My mother and I did this for our joint 60th and 40th birthday treat whilst touring Tassie. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. Whilst most of the group were keen cyclists who flew down the Mount, a few of us casually rode down whilst taking in the scenery and giving the bike brakes a good testing! Hysterical laughter... We booked onto this trip for my partner's 30th birthday. The day before we were booked in to go, we got a call saying that they hadn't met minimum numbers for our booked time and offered us a change in time or a refund - I was really pleased that we got nearly 24 hours notice of this!! Our two... More

Actually did this excursion in March 2014 but review doesn't allow for going back that far. After reading more of the reviews AFTER booking this excursion, I was nervous that this was too aggressive a bike ride. I couldn't have been more wrong. Fortunately we did have a beautiful sunny, dry day. Everyone went at their own pace. Even one... More
