Our group of 8 enjoyed an 8 hour tour of the Huon Valley with Peter our Guide and well organised by him. A great day with good weather. Unfortunately we were unable to get up to summit of Mount Wellington due to ice closure.

On time for pickup. Skilful driving on frequently degraded roads. Attended to every person's needs. Knowledgeable and informative.

This all day tour was enjoyed by all the participants and included a variety of interesting natural and historical sites plus some local commercial venues such as a honey farm, cheese and local beer sampling, oyster farm exquisite local chocolates. The ocean landscape and 1836 lighthouse provided spectacular natural views. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of commentary. There were many short stops which was a good formula for keeping the tour group interested and just the right amount of walking exercise.

Tassie Tours gave great value, more moderate prices than other operators. Excellent, knowledgeable guide, safe driver who got us started early & ahead of other groups, so there was no crowding at popular sites. Tour included all the good attractions; especially loved the walk along the stream in the forest and The Neck lookout. Lunch place terrific, not too expensive, but optional cheese and beer place disorganised and pricey (not worth going in). The island itself was the highlight: scenery, beaches, violent winds - especially at the lighthouse, huge skies and low-key development there. Something other countries don't often provide and Tassie Tours gave us the best of it!

Tassie Tours showed us the best of the island at a more moderate price than other operators. Our guide was very experienced & got us ahead of the other groups. Loved the walk along the stream & the bush there, the Neck, lighthouse site, etc. Cheese company disorganised and expensive, but lunch place terrific. Pity we missed the ferry - a busy Sunday at fault - despite getting there 25 mins before.
