Tassie Tours showed us the best of the island at a more moderate price than other operators. Our guide was very experienced & got us ahead of the other groups. Loved the walk along the stream & the bush there, the Neck, lighthouse site, etc. Cheese company disorganised and expensive, but lunch place terrific. Pity we missed the ferry - a busy Sunday at fault - despite getting there 25 mins before.

The Bruny Island tour with Tassie Tours was an enjoyable experience. Booking was easy, and communication excellent. The group size is small (up to 20), so the tour feels more personal and less commercial. Our driver Andrew was knowledgeable, friendly and flexible in trying to give us the best experience possible, given the changeable weather and other circumstances the day presented. My wife and I not only got to know the best aspects of Bruny Island, but connected with our fellow travellers as well We thought it was great value for money and time.

The bus we were taken in was not that clean and seemed very old. Althought the transfer was smooth and the driver was on time in both going and coming back from our bus stop location. Our driver was kind enough to stop at the Tasmanian arch to take some pics and he was superb in explaining things along the way. My only concern is the state of the bus which surprised me. Also, the price of the fare was slightly expensive given the state of the bus. I dont recommend Port Arthur if you don’t like history as it felt boring for me and there was nothing new to me

A highly recommended tour that covers all your important spots on the way and around Port Arthur to fully cover the stories and history of the historically rich location. We booked via Klook and the booking was easy and simple, we received many updates and confirmation emails before we even arrived in Hobart so we were well aware of the plans. We were picked up at our requested hotel (as per the list of stops provided in the booking section) right on time in a very clean and organised van seeing as our group was small during the off peak season. Our guide Jodie was absolutely wonderful and spoke to us about facts all throughout the journey to Port Arthur, stopping over historic landmarks and even some local factories to pick up some goodies and gifts. She answered all our questions very enthusiastically.

Please note that the ticket for the Port Arthur location is separately booked through their website (including a really lovely and informative short cruise). You can book when you get to the location, our guide was kind enough to help out anyone who needed help with the process, but I would recommend having it ready and booked beforehand so you don't have to waste time getting them. Port Arthur is a hauntingly beautiful place and so rich in the very raw history of Australia, I would encourage travellers to experience it and the realities that created the Australia we know today. Would also highly recommend catching the cave at the end, such a unique view and great vantage point to take in the landscapes of Tasmania. Overall amazing tour for such an affordable price, would 100% recommend.

Had an excellent day out with Peter from Tassie Tours. He made sure we saw as much as we could of the island in the time available , interspersed with great tasting stops. I recommend the Oysters from Get Shucked and the lunches at Bruny Hotel offer great value for money and generous portions. If you have time when you are in Hobart this tour is a must.

Probably one of the best tours I did in Tassie. Ben was an amazing tour guide who helped us really enjoy the full experience at Bruny from wildlife to food. He managed to help everyone enjoy their trip, where we could follow our food interests and have a little taste of everything. Ben also had lunch with us and was super cool to talk to. Look forward to when/ if he comes to Melbourne so we can show him around!

Simon was a knowledgable and flexible tour guide. We were picked up close to our accommodation and shown all the major highlights of Hobart. Mt Wellington was wreathed in cloud so we went to two other look-outs during our city tour. We had plenty of time at Salamanca Markets as well as the quaint historic town of Richmond. Simon took us all to Mona, and kindly waited for us so we didn't need to pay for the ferry back to the city. The only thing I would have changed would be to go to the market first thing to avoid the crowds later in the morning.

We went on the full-day guided Bruny Island Tour from Hobart and it was exactly as promoted. We were given a choice of pick up points and as luck would have it one was opposite our Air BnB. Not only was the tour a lot easier than trying to do it ourselves Andrew our driver and guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would 100% recommend Tassie tours and they seem to be considerably cheaper than some of the bigger tour operators.

My father in his mid-70s and I enjoyed the 3 Day Tasmanian highlights Tour – Hobart, Port Arthur and Bruny Island. The tour was a great mix of history, food and gifts, sights and scenery, and nature and wildlife all fit within 3 days. Good weather allowed us to go to visit all planned sights such as Mount Wellington and we were lucky to see a white wallaby in Bruny Island and Tasmanian devils in Bonorong wildlife sanctuary. We found the tour very comfortable, almost all stops had toilet access, good local food options (we didn’t need to pack lunch) and could cater for people with different fitness levels. The tour is convenient with pick ups and drop offs at your hotel. Rob, Anni and Bunzy, our driver tour guides were warm and friendly, very informative, entertaining and organised, making sure the trips go smoothly. The tour was as described. They let you know extra costs upfront which are worth it. We found the 3 day tour was great value and a perfect way to get to know Hobart and surrounds, particularly on a short trip. Our luggage is full local food and gifts to enjoy Tasmania a bit longer when we get home. If only we could take the oysters with us! Highly recommend!
