The winding road to the top of Mt. Wellington leads the traveller to the most awesome views over the city of Hobart and beyond, it felt like a spiritual experience that words alone can't express. It can be windy and chilly so if it is a little cold in Hobart take your jacket and beanie along with your camera -... More

Also known as Kunanyi. There is not much there in terms of amenity, but the relatively short drive to the summit is more than rewarded by the spectacular views the viewing shelter and platforms offer. You haven't truely seen Hobart if you haven't been up the Mountain.

The view from the below was beautiful. We could see all the way to Hobart city. However, at the peak we experienced snowing. I never saw snowing before so I was overjoyed. It's nice and relaxing tour. Our guide Jerry was wonderful and very helpful. He gave us tips to select other tours as well.

What amazing view of city, a must for anyone in area. Very reasonable rates. Nice anytime, and an excursion that won't break bank.

If you're visiting Hobart then this is a must. You'll get a great view of Hobart and the surrounding area and you'll almost definitely see snow.

Decided to go for a drive here as it is the top tourist attraction in Hobart. Incredible views after the drive up. Definitely worth the trip but make sure you bring a warm jacket! It was very cold
