As the price is very reasonable we decided to do all 3 attractions, the Venom Pit, In flight Birds of Prey and the Fang-tastic interactive session. Our guides/handlers were Dana and Chantelle and they demonstrated that they know their jobs and clearly love their jobs. The session with the venomous scorpions, spiders and snakes got the heart pumping a bit... More

Went to the Raptor show. Rangers are knowledgeable and clearly care for the birds and are eager to educate people. Birds are presented with opportunity to hold certain birds. Great photography opportunity while learning about their habitat. Must see.

After reading about the raptor display it was definitely on my must see list. My partner wasn't so sure and wasn't so keen on the idea as he doesn't normally like to see animals in captivity and forced to perform. But it was brilliant and we both loved it. Only birds which can't be returned to the wild are there... More

We were only on Kangaroo Island for 5 days and I am so glad that we went to the Raptor Domain. Firstly we attended the public showing which was absolutely fabulous. I loved the interaction that the audience had with the birds.Definitely a show not to miss. It was so good we paid to have a private shoot with 5... More

We certainly did not expect to find this little gem of a raptor center on the island. Yet, the show is well put together, the birds are very well trained and seem to enjoy their keepers as they could easily fly away. Children were all eyes when the keepers offer to hold some of the smaller birds. Well worth the... More

I have never experienced such a wonderful display of what birds can learn and how beautifully they can interact with humans in such a friendly manner. The shows are not to be missed in a visit to Kangaroo Island. The venom show and reptile shows are highly informative and educational. I loved every minute of my stay at Raptor Domain!!!

We went for a whole day, experiencing all the wildlife shows. They were all fantastic! Highly interactive and very informative. The staff were great and clearly have a passion for animals that they are very happy to share and are doing a wonderful job of inspiring the next generation of animal lovers. A wonderful experience not to be missed.

Theae guys run a great little park here, and you can tell they do it for the love of sharing their knowledge with others rather than big profits. We saw all 3 shows and our family all enjoyed it thoroughly. Highly recommend it.

Variety of attractions here including the Venom Pit but we opted for the Raptor display and weren't disappointed. $18 per head for a 45 minute show which allowed us to view several species of birds including an owl, sea eagle, blue winged kookaburra and curlew as well as eagles. Audience members had the option to allow some of the birds... More
