Just like the one in Chicago you can take of photo with your reflection.
With 2 round balls on top of one another it’s something that the kids love to do.
It’s also a great meeting place as it’s an iconic sculpture in the Rundle Street Mall.

I creamed my pants when I saw this beautiful structure. it is perhaps the largest balls i have ever seen. it is very unique comparing to the lame Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, Kremlin in Russia, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Great Pyramid of Giza, Sydney Opera House, Statue of Liberty, Taj Mahal, Moai and Machu Picchu. there is a possibility to see god if you go here.

While shopping in Rundle Mall I was greeted by the sight of two very large balls. This shiny artistic installation is very striking. You have to travel a long way to see a pair of balls like this. I would rate it in my top ten balls world-wide.

A reference point in Rundle mall often use to meet with friends or reference your location. They get hot during the summer so be careful.

Like the pig statues further down, I am at a loss to understand their relevance and costs. Something with a local theme would be more appropriate.

I love big metal balls. They make me so excited! I go to the balls almost every week just to touch their smooth shiny exterior. Everyone will enjoy touching and looking at these spectacular balls!

We stayed at the Ibis Hotel so Rundle mall was just a few steps out of the hotel.
Great place to be, the ball statue was an eye catcher and also gave a sense of direction as there were so many shops.
There was a musical performance and lots of people enjoying it during lunchtime.

They’re an icon in Rundle Mall. Use the balls as a backdrop for that perfect photo. Children love seeing their faces in the balls. Plenty of retail therapy as a bonus.

Not sure what t stands for. Together with the 'pigs' sculpture, it more or less symbolise this shopping street for Adelaide.

What does it represent? or is it just a piece of modern art?
Written June 29, 2017
It was completed in 1977 for Adelaide's Rundle Mall. It was called 'Spheres' by the artist but is commonly known as Mall's Balls. The sculptor was Bert Flugelman, a famous artist and university lecturer, who was born in Vienna, Austria, but who came to Australia as a teenager. The sculpture is popular with locals and tourists alike and is used as a meeting place regularly.
