It was an amazing afternoon. Daniel really knows his stuff and took the time to not only explain but also heaps of practice. I learnt so much and it had inspired me to learn more. Thanks for organising at such short notice.

I did the afternoon travel session followed by the night session. Chloe was a very knowledgeable, friendly tutor and I was lucky enough to have her all to myself for the first session and then have only one other join us for the night session. I now have much more confidence in using my DSLR camera on manual settings and have some great photos of the Festival Plaza to remember this eyesore by when they upgrade this area! The night session was lots of fun and as there was an AFL match on at Adelaide Oval (pity it was Port Power but never mind) there was a real buzz (for Adelaide!) in the city while we captured our creative light shots.
I only have a cheapie mini tripod, which was OK, but if you have (or can borrow) a full size one that would be even better.

I have had my 'new' camera for over a year now & rarely venture away from the Auto setting. What do all those numbers and codes displaying on my screen mean if I turn the dial away from Auto? Thanks to Chloe from Adelaide Photography Tours I am discovering a new world. Our group was small enabling us to have a one-on-one chat when needed. Chloe has an excellent understanding of photography, was very encouraging and wow!! I actually took some amazing shots & know what some of those codes now mean. A most enjoyable tour. Highly recommend

I am an amateur photographer with limited knowledge, but Daniel was more than helpful with the tips, tricks and settings, going so far as to add a little extra time for astral photography pointers at the end.

It was a wonderful experience in learning not only photography skills but the instructor took the time to help everyone understand and optimise the use of their cameras.

I have a little photography knowlege and Sam went through the basics.
I found it very useful and the practicals were brilliantly done to demonstrate a point.

I did both day and night last weekend, had Sam during the day and Chloe at night. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get more out of photography than just a normal photo. Chloe is a wonderful teacher and the ideas and techniques she spoke about was wonderful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the night time photography course in Adelaide and appreciated the help and advice we received from Sam. I'm looking forward to trying out more evening photography - something I would have avoided in the past.
