If you want to get from the city to the Bay (Glenelg) it's an interesting scenic trip that's cheap and does not take long. The destination - Glenelg - is good and probably worth the trip. Since the old trams were replaced by modern ones, which you can find the world over, it's lost its feel eg you can no... More

the tram is easy to take from the cbd to Glenelg and a great way to see more of the suburbs of Adelaide. Genelg is a nice beach area with activities for the kids to keep them busy. A nice way to spend a couple of hours.

The tram is a convenient and comfy way to get to this seaside gem. Lots of shops and cafes and a great safe beach. Get the day pass!

There is only one tram line in Adelaide but it covers quite a distance from the Entertainment centre then through the city centre itself, and then continues quite a way to the very nice beachside resort of Glenelg. However, although the tram travels on its own right of way from the city to Glenelg, it is not exactly a fast... More

We are staying in Glenelg for a short break, and really like that we can just hop on the tram and go to the city reasonably quickly. The off-peak fare for interstate seniors (that is, free!) is fantastic, but you need to get a seniors temporary travel card from the information centre in the city first (also from other places,... With friends we visited Gleng and waljed around the beach and shops in area. A lovely clean area to visit, very popular with tourists as quite busy. A great variety of eateries and orjer food stores, souvenir and orher stores. A great day to visit and flat areas for ealking or wheelchairs too. Recommend a visit. Tram from city right... More

Amazing free tram rides. Wow it is correct, the rides are free to a particular zone and then you pay a very small fare especially if you invest in the local metro card. Great work Adelaide.
