With incredible views over the Whitsundays, and the only 18-hole championship golf course on its own island in Australia, Hamilton Island Golf Club is a destination in itself. Located on Dent Island, the Hamilton Island Golf Club is a 'must do' activity for both novice and professional golfers.

Wonderful location high on Dent Island overlooking the Whitsunday Passage with spectacular 180 degrees views back towards Hamilton Island. Decor modern and refreshing. The launch departs next to Manta Ray restaurant and is barely a 10 minute trip to the pontoon before you are transferred up the hill by mini bus to the golf club. Beautifully greeted with hand towels... More

A store clerk recommended booking a tour with lunch on the gold course and I was so glad I did. it was fantastic value for money all for a small sum it included a short boat trip to the island, choose 2 options out of entree, main or dessert and tour around the island with opportunities for pictures and someone... Great place to play. 3 brave men braved the elements in one of the coldest winters day to complete 18 holes, beer break at the 6th and 9th. Simply stunning are the only words I can use to describe a terrific experiences. Highlight was the sea eagle with a snake in it's talons for dinner.

Great half day trip, lunch and a drive around the back nine holes. A fabulous course, lovely clubhouse and staff, mains for lunch, fish mains were fabulous but the scallop and pork entree didn't work for us. A great day though and most worthwhile

We booked lunch at the golf club, which had been recommended by friends. The brochure didn't say, but men are required to wear collared shirts. (Later I saw the dress code was posted at the bottom of the confirmation email, but if you are booking via phone you don't see it). My husband had to run back to the apartment... More

Let the boys play golf and met them for a long lunch afterwards. The service, food and view was too die for. The tour of the back nine was certainly worth doing lunch. They have package deals just ask them they couldn't do enough to make our afternoon unforgettable.

I recently had the pleasure of 18 holes of golf with three mates at this amazing golf course, from the moment you are ferried from the Hamilton Island marina to returning back many hours later, this experience will remain with us for ever. From the moment you arrive at the clubhouse to be greeted by a friendly staff member with... More

Nine hole tour and lunch package was very good value. Don't bother about the golf on windy days, course looks challenging enough on the best of days even for a regular low handicap golfer. Views are spectacular and lunch in club restaurant was superb. Would recommend a visit on any HI holiday.

Booked a session of golf for my husband's birthday. The scenery is stunning. My husband is an average golfer (15 handicap), found the course challenging, but absolutely loved the experience.

Take plenty of golf balls and don't care if you lose them!!! The amazing scenery and sights on this course make up for anything you encounter whilst actually playing. It is a great course layout and fun to play - straight hitting and you can manage a good score - slightly wayward and say goodbye to the golf ball. Not... More
