I grew up in Cairns and hadn’t been to Green Island for at least 20 years. I was really excited to learn that the crocodile park that I’d visited as a child was still operating. I enjoyed sharing the experience with my children and found it to be a massive draw card to the island. We stayed for 3 days and were able to come back over the course of our stay. We watched the feeding show several times and were lucky enough to have one of the shows only have a few people so we got to see everything up close. I think our first presenter was Josh? His presentation was really informative and funny. Trinity and Babinda (crocs) were suitably scary when they popped up near the fence from underwater. Cassius was also very impressive and our kids are still talking about Bella, Bulla and Killer. Matt coaxed Bulla out of the water at another presentation which was also impressive. We loved not only the croc show but all the the art and fish, turtle and artifacts and Gary the heron. What a fantastic family run business. Well done!

What a great experience to get so close to some very large crocodiles. Josh provided excellent information during the feeding show and then hung around to share more information on the crocodiles and the resident turtle.

Well worth the small price and we would go again.

We enjoyed the crocs so much we went back 3 times, Josh at the choc feeding show was informative and entertaining - the crocs themselves very impressive.
Once you understand more about crocs you appreciate their circumstances and how they came to be at Green Island, and in the care of the Craig family.
The big boy Cassius was terrifyingly huge - a true king of crocs. But the others were also impressive.
The enclosures made you feel very up close and personal with the crocs and the collection of artefacts were as interesting as the crocs.
We were fortunate to meet George Craig himself who was very open and giving of his time.
What an incredible life story, thank you for sharing it with us 🥰

The attraction is a complete enjoyable surprise. An aquarium experience of quint tropical fish and creatures/corals with the use of natural light as good as any where else on the mainland. Plenty of large size crocodiles including Cassius (5.48 m) with the regular feeding session at 1.30pm. Melanesia art works on display throughout and George Craig's own art work. Plenty of history with news articles on display of large crocodile catches from the past. The gift shop has plenty to offer as well. Reasonably priced for a family. With few other attractions on the island itself well worth the visit. Run by the Craig family since 1972. Don't miss it , highly recommended.

Feeding of crocs and history of each croc well explained by Josh. Massive croc Cassius stole the show apparently the biggest croc held in captivity in the world. Well worth a visit.

Cassius is one incredible beast! I've a fascination for crocodiles and have to say this place is top of my list now. I do feel a bit sad for big creatures like Cassius in captivity, he would probably love to go for a big old swim and stretch his legs so to speak... but he seems happy enough in here. Especially given his options and that if he wasn't here he would probably not be alive still.

This whole attraction has such a cool atmosphere. Entry is a bit expensive ($25 or $20 for locals) but we expected that and were more than happy with the experience.

The croc handler did a really good show and was enjoyable to watch too :). Make sure you go at croc feeding show time.

If you travel to Green Island be sure to make your way to Marineland Crocodile Park. Matt, our tour guide, was just brilliant. Definitely learned a lot more about crocodiles thanks to you Matt. Credit must go to Gary, who also kept our group entertained. The kids loved holding baby croc at the end of the show. Great Work Matt!

Had the hugest crocodiles I ever seen. Mat was very informative and got the crocs to rise out of the water. You have to see Cassius. The aquarium was well set out and worth a look. A must if going to Green Island.

Very informative and the staff are happy to spend extra time outside of the shows to talk about the animals at the park. Amazing collection of art, and a wonderful little aquarium.

Thanks especially to Brad and Josh, who spent time with my kids and answered their endless questions. Cassius is an incredible animal, and the team at Marineland clearly look after him well. Well worth a visit - especially at feeding time.
