Better than most highways!

If you want to get away from it all this is the place to go. Miles and miles of scenic beach driving and better than most of the highways you will travel on.

Amazing to see. 128 kilometers of beach. Dingos and dunes. Possibility to take a flight over the island. Do not swimming. If the current doesn't kill you the sharks will. The ocean is SHARKTASTIC. Fantastic experience.

Its so bizarre! Speed signs on the beach. This is a highway runs on the beach. I've never experienced driving on the beach, let alone so close to the water. You get to see also the beautiful wildlife, many of the birds and not to mention the dingoes walking around trying to find food. Its along here you get to... More

For those who love beach driving the Seventy Five Mile Beach is paradise. For most of its distance it is wide and flat with only a couple of places where rocks on the beach make an inland bypass necessary at the higher ranges of the tide. Outposts of civilisation are encountered at regular intervals, such as the villages of Eurong... More

We did the drive along Seventy Five Mile Beach on a bus as part of a Fraser Explorer Tour. It is a great experience as you bomb across the sand through the water and over divots. You can see nothing ahead but never ending golden sands bounded by rainforest on one side and beautiful ocean on the other. The bus... More

WOW!!!!! What an incredible experience. Driving along the beach in a 4-wheel drive with the wind blowing, the surf pumping, birds chirping and spectacular views. Will definitely return to Fraser to do it all again. How exhilarating!

Just a fantastic drive on the beach. Our driver was simply awesome, touching the waves ever so lightly with the tour bus and making the drive so smooth and effortless. What a great place to drive, and the beautiful fresh water streams that come out from the dunes are a great place to stop for a cup of tea.

We travelled along the beach as part of a tour. It's amazing, it is like a road, therefore can be and is patrolled by the local police. We came across him pulling people over and breathalyzing them. The beach is also used for the landing of small planes, so you will ocassionally come across signs saying that section is an... More
