A lovely natural place to go and escape the city for a while. You can sit on the grass and watch an amazing variety of birds.

Unfortunately a number of paths were closed. Nice to have a wander if you want a quiet time. The Black hawk memorial was moving. We had just called in for a look so did not try to walk the entire area.

What a delightful place. Well worth visiting, the variety of vegetation is amazing and the memorial of the Black Hawk tragedy of 1996 is well displayed. The ducks and turtles in the pond seem to know that people mean food!

A great collection of palms from all around the world. They have been arranged in habitats & classified accordingly. Most have signs depiting their names. Well kept & luscious green gardens.
