Horrible and potentially dangerous attraction! If you suffer from claustrophobia and the dark, or have any balance or mobility issues, stay away!
My husband and I took our 8, 11 and 14 year old children to this place. I expected this to be a fun experience, but halfway through we entered a few rooms which were very difficult to get out of with my children screaming in terror as there were hands, and hair hanging from the ceiling in pitch black darkness. I pressed the panic button and the attendant was great and spoke to us through the intercom to ask if we were ok. I said we were and managed to get out of the room. I was in a panic but I pulled myself together and led my family out of there. I think some other more sensitive people might have had a full blown panic attack in there.
There was also a suspended bridge room which is also in near darkness and I feel this would be very dangerous if someone fell in there.
In the end, my kids said they enjoyed it and my husband too, but I wouldn’t do this attraction again. It was expensive and not worth it.

Thanks for taking the time to write your comments. I will respond to each one below.
In over 22 years of trading and millions of visitors we have not had any serious incidents that you refer to from claustrophobia, imbalance, or mobility issues. Our website entry and safety conditions, entry warning card and entry safety video clearly describe the experience and whether a guest is suitable to attend or not.
The experience is covered with CCTV and an guest intercom as you know, in the darker Mystery Zone. Our staff were able to see if you wanted to continue or leave. You decided to 'kick on and finish the experience as you were only about halfway through at that stage.
The Light Canyon suspension bridge is totally safe and a height illusion. The bridge has a handrail and netting on both sides to prevent anyone slipping through to the abyss.
Most guests rate the experience as good value for money for a unique activity in the centre of Australia's main tourist destination, the Gold Coast.
Once again, thanks for your comments and we may hope to see you again someday at INFINITY.

Attraction is easily accessible in the shopping district. Gloves and shoe wraps were provided in order to enter the attraction.
Whole experience took approximately 30min depending on quickly one passes through each area. Colourful areas good for photo taking but a little boring for adults. It would be great for families with children as it can be quite interactive for kids.

Found the attraction completely over priced and most definitely not worth it at that price. If priced at least 50% Less I would say it would be ok. Queenstown has a similar attraction at a way better price. Don’t waste your money.

I am sorry to hear that you feel that way, and it is unusual, as most people have rated Infinity very highly on value for money. Certainly, it is so, when compared to the cost of other entertainment options. It is also probably why we get over 24% repeat guests visiting us on a daily basis.
Unfortunately, at half the ticket price you would not be able to operate a tourism business in a peak tourist area, like Surfers Paradise with rent, wages, and other normal standard business overheads.
We also offer multiple discounts online for admission and also have frequent offers for discounts on our social media. The pricing is very similar to the place you mention in Queenstown.
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts.

This was excellent! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good use of lighting to play effects with the mind. We have a small child (3) with us and she thought it was great except when the floor wasn’t as solid (1 room) as the others. Would do it again!! Staff were great and very helpful.

For the money they charge for entrance, I guess I was expecting much more. The Maze was fun, but the rest of the attraction was exceedingly average, and all over in just over 30 minutes. Kids had been wanting to do this for years, and although they enjoyed it, they weren't raving about it after we left. Been there, done it...probably won't do it again.

Thanks for your comments and review.
We regularly check our pricing in comparison to other entertainment options on the Gold Coast and have always found ( and reviews agree ) that it is good value for money when compared to such a unique product. There is still nothing like it in the world. We also do have many discount options online and on social media for discounted tickets.
It is stated the experience takes approx 3o minutes for most to complete.
Thanks for trying INFINITY, even if it is only once:)

Went in with our 2 kids. Wasn't sure what to expect. Is really a visual splendour and quite exhilarating, however must say (for me) that if I didn't have my daughter in there, don't think I would have found my way out! Lol! Really an experience you should try though. Feels really surreal.

The 8 year old is our group was terrified part way through and didn’t enjoy it. So consider whether it is suitable for young ones. The teenagers loved it. I would have happily skipped it if I didn’t need to take the 8 year old through.

Small place in the market easily accesible by train. I had done something like this for the first time and it was an absolute delight. They take u for a tour into 8-10 difrent rooms to pass and enjoy the effects. My favorite was the ball feel room. Not much fotoclicks allowed.all children would love to do it twice atleast.
Enjoy .

It was fun to try and find a way out, there’s some really cool rooms you go through. My child was a bit on the scared side when we went into dark rooms. Price is a little high, but to be expected at a tourist destination.

Took my 10 yr old who loves the maze and all the lights. My son is on the spectrum so the loud noises disturbed him a little and he wanted to get out but I held him close with hands over ears at one part but he was fine, through the rest and really enjoyed it. I was glad I got him a good stick before we went in as well

Thanks for sharing and glad your son made it through as well. The glow sticks are welcome and handy distraction sometimes for the younger kids.

Is it suitable for babies?

Sorry I only saw this question now It’s a little bit dark and there is a scary section so I would probably give it a miss

Staff are most helpful and welcoming They give you exit advice before you even enter There is one scary part , it’s immersed in darkness and plastic items touch you but you maybe able to avoid this if you talk to staff The rest is magical with lights and illusions to fill your senses

My youngest daughter is 6 years old, my boy is 10, who really wants to go. Do you think this is suitable for a 6 year old?
Thanks

Gold Coast, Australia6 contributions
I believe that if your 6 year old does not like being in dark places or does not like being touched by stuff from the roof it would not be a very smart idea to go. I want with a friend with a 5 year old and she did not cope well with it but if you go and it gets to scary there are exits in every room.
When you get in there, how long does the attraction go for?
InfinityAttraction

It takes most guests 25-40 minutes. You can spend as long as you like in each area before moving on. Immerse yourself !

0-3 years of age are free. We do recommend for ages 8 years and above though. If they are an infant you would need to have them in a front-carrying baby harness as you need both hands out in front of you when you make your way through the attraction. It would be best if you could leave the infant with a friend or family member whilst you go through the experience.
The louder noises, a couple air blasts and the fog effects sometimes upset younger children.
In saying that we have had many parents with a harness take their infant through.
Please read our entry and safety conditions tab on our homepage.
Thankyou
