Rockhampton Botanical Garden and Zoo is without doubt one of the City's premiere attractions and a must see when in the Capricorn area. The surrounds are well established and there's ample parking even on the bussiest weekends. A relaxing, well-planned public area for all to enjoy. Parkrun operates every saturday, and there is a kiosk with a good selection of food, drinks, icecreams etc.

I visit here on a regular bases i take my kids there and i also take my disability clients there. I love fresh free feeling that i get when walking around the gardens. The Japanese gardens are beautiful and really feel at peace when watching the water fall. It is very clean and green.
