Beautiful little church in the most picturesque spot with amazing views. Would make the most gorgeous spot to have a small intimate wedding ceremony. Would highly recommend. Nondenominational church. Highly recommend visiting when in “Port”.

St Mary’s by the Sea is a beautiful little piece of port history as well as a gorgeous place to have significant family events. The church is well maintained and event bookings are easy thanks to a generous and dedicated few who care for it. There is a lovely breeze around it and the view inside looking out over the ocean is a uniquely serene backdrop for creating many memorable moments.

A really lovely wooden church right by the waters edge. Small but elegant and certainly worth a walk down to it if visiting Port Douglas. Combine it with a walk on the grass by the sea, it's a lovely area, but don't go on to the shore however crocodiles live there!

Very quaint. Only church that I have seen with such a beautiful view up behind the altar. Almost impossible to photograph but I persevered.
