The Low Isles tour was very enjoyable. The boat trip was scenic and relaxed. The snorkeling was wonderful and I saw some great coral and reef shark and turtle and fish. But if you don't want to snorkle I would recommend a different tour as the glass bottom boat was not that great and probably doesn't compare well to the... More

Did the low isle tour this week. Was nice. Weather was good a part from a little drizzle which I guess helped. I wish the biologist would snorkel around with us for the whole duration as we'd have probably seen a lot more. Also not much time to snorkel especially if you choose to do the glass bottom boat ride... More

Quicksilver Cruises is doing a pretty good job! Staff is extremely professional, attentive, and helpful. We had an adventurous boat ride with one of their big wave piercers, which travels fast but quite smoothly to the outer Great Barrier Reef. The food provided was delicious, they offered one beef and one vegetable main dish, plenty of salad and a great... More

Quicksilver took us via catamaran to Agincourt for a day of semi-submersible and aquarium viewing and snorkeling with the fishes. They provide alternate activities (including scuba), lycra suits, and underwater cameras for additional fees. The included snorkel gear and life vests helped us enjoy the views of the sharks, giant clams, and multitude of fish swimming all around the coral,... More

See my separate reviews in Low Isles and Silversonic. This company is great, wonderful staff, lots of options. Just make sure you pick the day/trip that has what you want, i.e. size of boat, locations of snorkeling/diving, etc.

A work colleague recommended we went with Quicksilver. I've read quite a few of the negative reviews on this reef cruise and think they are a bit harsh. Yes, on the outbound journey a few people got sick but the staff were helpful as best they could. Suggest people take a few precautions beforehand to minimise the effects. It is... More

One can never plan for the weather when you want to look at nature. The boat ride out was a treat in itself. An accident on board due to heavy seas was very quickly and competently dealt to by the crew. Good work done by Taylor. Great food. Trip home was a joy.

We started our day with a helicopter tour of the reef and ended with cruise. The weather was rough that day but the staff did what they could to make everyone comfortable. I highly recommend Quicksilver.
