Fabulous trip with passionate staff and well educated marine biologists that were more than willing to share their abundance of knowledge about the reef with all of us. Smaller group which was fabulous and lucky enough to be taken to 3 different snorkelling spots. The coral was amazing and the colours of some of the fish were memerable. We were... More

It's hard to pick who you should entrust with your visit to the Great Barrier Reef... It's a special part of the world & you want to ensure you are getting the best of the best, especially if it is a once in a lifetime experience. I feel with Wavelength we got the best experience we could. Wavelength only does... More

Friendly staff but a bit stiffed. The reef snorekling was good. However getting there is like a riding a horse. The boat is jumping like a crazy wild horse due to the strong winds. Maybe if they sailed this boat slowly instead of full speed it would be enjoyable. I really did not like a lunch. Everything was cold. Overall... More

C2333OCchrisc Glad you thought overall the day was good and the reef was great. It sounds like the weather had a significant impact on your enjoyment, so sorry about that. It's been windy this April and May with plenty of days with rough ocean conditions. This has been harder for the passengers but good news to help cool the water... More

We did a bit of research before going to the Barrier Reef and found Wavelength and the reason we chose it was because of the Marine Biologists on board. The crew were so friendly and very helpful - always with a smile! Paul was very passionate on the subject and very animated which we loved. All the crew were also... More

A beautiful day, weather, staff, reef everything were perfect! Staff take care of us during all the day and they are really implicated to protect the destruction of the reef. I recommend that for everyone!

Wavelength are a fantastic company to visit the reefs, very knowledgeable and they gave us good advise on how to react to animals we may encounter at the sights on the way out to the reefs. As the trips are only snorkelling everyone got the same experience. Lunch was very good.

This is one of the slightly pricier boat tours but SO worth the extra cost. We went on another boat tour that claimed small tour sizes and it was crowded and not nearly the 5 star experience that Wavelength is. The crew is phenomenal and very knowledgable about everything with the reef- I learned so much from the talks, and... More

For the Local people chasing a local discount when showing friends around, be prepared to be swapped out for a tourist paying full price. The joys of Standby rates. (Standard across most operations)

Jascha G, Jascha, what do you think you contribute by this review when you haven't traveled with us? Is it helpful to other people or does it say more about you than us? It was explained to you at the time that we couldn't confirm a standby booking if you wanted to make one (which we don't normally offer) until... More

Wavelength picked us up from our resort and dropped us back. The crew were all marine biologists and very warm and friendly. The small group (40 max) made this experience an intimate and personalised one. It also meant that there was not too much traffic at each Reef spot. The crew hand picked the snorkel spots that day to give... More
