An amazing day spent with an amazing guide. Nicholas was an endless source of information. He took us to places we would never have found on our own and we saw things that we never knew existed. He kept us entertained all day - even spotting a cassowary and 2 chicks that we were able to get really close to. I have seen the Daintree before, but this exceded all my expectations. Thank you Daintree Safaris, we had a sensational time.

This is an outstanding tour. Nicholas has an encyclopedic level of knowledge of the plants, trees, birds, creatures, fish, everything and how they fit into the ecosystem. We booked the tour for just us two and went September 2019. Nicholas is a unique guide. If you are looking for constant chit chat the whole way, this is not for you. We walked in silence for good stretches in the rainforest which enabled us to listen to the birds and experience the calm. When we came upon a particular interest (of which there were many) we would stop and examine it and Nicholas would provide a wealth of knowledge. The great majority of what we witnessed and experienced would have been missed had we just been on our own. We travel extensively worldwide and do not often get this quality of private tour. Hi to Nicholas and Annemaree!

This is one of the best day tours I’ve ever had. Nicholas is very knowledgeable and a great guide. We saw an amazing amount that we would have definitely missed on our own. We saw two cassowaries, archer fish, golden orb spiders, kingfishers, crocs, stick bugs, fox bats and a lot of interesting flora. Being from Maui, it was particularly interesting to us as, a lot of the plants and trees grow in both environments. Lunch was fantastic as well with a lot of native fruit. I particularly liked that Nicholas didn’t feel he needed to talk constantly. Only when there was something insightful to convey.

I was traveling with family (who were visiting Australia for the first time) and Nicholas's tour was one of the highlights of our trip! He is so experienced and knowledgeable - it's clear he's been doing this for many years. The tour included a variety of activities including hiking through the rainforest, walking Cape Tribulation beach, swimming in a freshwater water hole, lunch at the Daintree Tea house, a stop at a local ice cream parlor and a croc river boat tour. We saw lizards, spiders, crocs, cassowaries, a small shark, stingrays and lots of flora - fauna. Thank you to Nicholas for being so professional and amazing! We did

I had the opportunity earlier this month to join Nicholas on an excursion into the Daintree rainforest. From the moment we were gathered at our hotel (Mai Tai resort) we knew we would be in for a great day - Nick was warm, jovial/good-natured, and accommodating. We toured many areas, and were given multiple options for sightseeing along our day-long tour. We were provide a wealth of information about each site, the rainforest in general, the animals and plant life. We stopped for lunch at an outdoor type café, and the food was outstanding. I learned a great deal during our outing, and highly recommend Daintree Safaris as an activity.
