We carry a maximum of just six guests per day, travelling exclusively in the comfort of a spacious, late model Toyota 200 series Land Cruiser, featuring individual air conditioning and equal legroom throughout. We’ll cross The Daintree River by cable ferry on our way to the Jindalba board-walks. Enjoy a morning tea of home-made muffins and locally grown tea or freshly ground plunger coffee. See two World Heritage sites meet as the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef touch at Cape Tribulation's beach. Take advantage of a true locals knowledge and enjoy our secret, sparkling swimming hole. Savour frosty, tropical delights at The Daintree Ice Cream Company while you stroll through their beautiful gardens. Then, stop for a photo, at the scenic Alexandra Lookout. Lunch, well sit back relax and dine, a la carte, in any weather at The Daintree Tea House Restaurant. Enjoy a choice of Chicken, Beef, Vegetarian and allergy free meals or perhaps you'd like to try our tropical speciality, Barramundi. All dishes are served with salad, chips, fresh bread and a large array of tropical fruit. Your host will talk you through all the exotic locally grown delicacies as you enjoy your meal. Next we take you to The Daintree River Cruise Centre for a one hour guided wild life spotting cruise on the Daintree River. Perhaps we'll spot one of our giant Saltwater Crocodiles. We had a great day with Nicholas as our host and guide. Loved that this is a small group - we only had four on our tour and it was so much fun. As per other reviews, Nicholas is a walking encyclopedia! One of the trip highlights was seeing a cassowary with three chicks... very special. The secluded rock pool was awesome to swim in.. I was reluctant at first but was so pleased that I had a swim. My husband and I highly recommend this tour... forget about the larger tour groups... Everything from the home made muffins to fresh fruit for morning tea and lunch was fantastic. A 'must do' tour when visitng Port Douglas.

So many memorable moments - we saw a cassowary which was a massive highlight, but I think it was more special to learn about cassowaries and their history and critically endangered status. We saw the Ulysses butterfly after eating the best ice cream ever at the Daintree ice cream company. We swam in a stream that was definitely invigorating and learnt about “wait a while” along with so many other things in the Daintree. Nick is a walking wikipedia, google, and almost David Attenborough rolled into one, with a touch of humour. Also learnt about native fruits at our lunch and the difference between farm and wild barramundi. Loved everything except croc cruise which was educational and peaceful but underwhelming. Great value and a memorable experience And…loved the other two couples we travelled with - gorgeous fun people that added to the joy of our day

What an amazing day! Nicholas took us on a bespoke tour in a 4WD vehicle, he was passionate about sustainability and the Aussie history together with the human origin and the respect for the history. Nicholas is well know by everyone that we came across including the road crews clearing the land slips. This was a WOW tour lots of information from a very attentive guide and being the owner and operator of the business he had a keen interest on giving the best experience possible. The restaurant food was just perfect with a choice of fish or steak as the main wow dishes with some other choices for those wishing to avoid normal food. You should have a look at the website, the tours are limited to six people max and everything is supplied, from Tea & Coffee in the morning to the lunch, all you need is some cash for ice cream and coffee later in the day. Watch out for the wait a while! Nicholas will explain.
