What a great nature adventure! If you are looking to see wildlife in it's natural habitat, then this is the adventure for you! Included (for no extra charge) is Ruby, Andy's incredible pup, who is happy to play fetch as long as you want :). You will travel through all kinds of terrain in search of different plants and wildlife. Loved the canoe through the reeds to capture some great photos of all the beautiful birds. Thanks Andy & Ruby for an incredible time! Sending hugs from Cali!

This was such a cool adventure. It was great to travel into the bush with Andy and Ruby (his pup), as our guides. We saw a lot of bird life, reptiles and several kangaroos (a wallaroo and a wallaby too)! We had a delicious lunch at a camp site and learned how to make a fire with flint. Canoeing was my favorite part of the day as their was a lovely breeze over the water. I had a great time taking lots of awesome photos as we paddled around. Andy’s pup is a pleasure to be around. She is such a well behaved dog and so much fun! I would highly recommend this tour. Andy goes to all lengths to ensure a good time is had by all and that everyone’s needs are well cared for.

We were so blown away by our first day out in the Bush with Andy and Ruby that we signed up for another trip. Andy is a walking encyclopedia of information on the local area and it’s wildlife. We really learned a lot about the trees, birds, kangaroos and wallabies and also the way of life out in the Bush. We had a great time trying our hand at lighting the campfire just with a bit of flint and a blade. The food was yummy we had kanga sliders 🍔 fresh salads, fruits. Then I kicked back in a hammock for an afternoon nap whilst some of the other campers opted for a trek down the river. In the afternoon we visited an absolutely beautiful lake with Lilly’s and black swans. And absolutely no one around. Andy Has unique visiting rights to the reserve there , the only other person who can visit the land is a local cattle farmer. So it’s pretty cool you have the whole place to yourself After that we went for a trek through the Bush spotting all sorts of wildlife- we saw Wallaroos (cross between a kangaroo and a wallabe) didn’t even know that was a thing before the trip, it’s not something the untrained eye would spot, but Andy really knows the animals out in the Bush If you’re looking for a very special experience in the Bush with a real local who really knows his stuff, Andy’s your man. Can’t recommend the trip highly enough. Thanks again Andy

Went out with Andy and Ruby into the bush. What a fabulous adventure. Andy is an encyclopedia of knowledge. We saw kangaroos and a huge variety of birds. So many great spots. Had a wonderful lunch cooked on a camp fire by the river. Explored the bush with Ruby. I highly recommend this adventure, you will not be disappointed. Thanks Andy and Ruby.

If you are interested in seeing wildlife, check out Andy’s bush tours. Andy is incredibly knowledgeable - and passionate - about local ecosystems and cultures. He’s also very attentive to the needs of each participant. I had wanted to be see kangaroos in the wild while visiting the Port Douglas area. I saw roos and so much more!
