A informative day was had by all .the tour guide was very knowlegable and narrative throughout tour, lunch was at a lovely restaurant amongst the rainforest in the daintree, meals were preordered by guide after getting selections from options given to us .
Despite brochure stating to bring swimming costume and towels ..once we were at mossman gorge it was explained that due to past incidents swimming was discouraged..
Despite this a good day was had by all

This was a great tour. They did a great job in meeting us, giving us details of everything we saw. The boat trip up the river to see the mangroves and crocs was a little on the slow side but other than that the tour was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone.

We visited in January 2023. We’ve been on many tours around the world and the one thing that sets tours apart is the tour guide. Ben, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing. My wife and I had a fantastic day. Ben’s passion for the Daintree was equally married with his passion for teaching, as his giving of information was easy to understand, informative, motivating, and left us and likely all those he guided with a sincere interest in the Daintree. We love speaking of our travels and no doubt we will be speaking about our trip with Ben for many years to come. To top it off we saw a few Crocodiles and a few rare and endangered Cassowaries.

Interesting small bus tour with plenty of time to stretch your legs. Experiencing the rainforest in the wet seemed to make it 'come alive' for me. Our guide, Randall, was knowledgeable, informative, observant and appeared passionate about his job. His talks were interesting & he pointed out some creatures that we wouldn't have noticed on our own. He was also able to direct a laser light, without disturbing the creature, when they were hard to spot. The Daintree river cruise was exciting, our Captain found a number of crocodiles for us to observe in their natural habitat. His knowledge of the surrounds was impressive and he passed this on in an interesting way. We passed a few other bus loads of Tony's Tours and I noticed that the guides would inform their colleagues of anything interesting that they'd spotted. We've seen some of the territory we covered on this tour before without a guide and it made us appreciate how much we'd missed previously.

Great day out with our tour guide Kerry. Collected from our resort and driven to places that included Mossman Gorge, Mount Alexandra Lookout, Daintree Forest, Cape Tribulation and Coopers Creek. Kerry was up-to-date and knowledgeable. Able to answer our questions with ease. Morning tea and lunch was provided. Stopped for ice cream at a local producer using fruits from the orchard along the way. Was a long day out but most of the time we were in the comforts of the air conditioned can. Definitely worth the money as the tour covers many of the must do locations when visiting far North Queensland.

We booked the half day Daintree tour but had an issue with our booking due to personal circumstances. The staff helped us out and the customer service that we received from Zoe was top notch. I couldn’t recommend this company more highly. Definitely five stars.

We had an amazing tour. The bus was clean and comfortable. But best of the all the tour guide Kerry was brilliant. He had an incredible amount of knowledge and also a great ability to spot hidden wild life. Would highly highly recommend the tour. Added bonus is a pretty good lunch stop at Hermitage Lodge.

The tour was PERFECT. Very small and funny bunch and our tour guide Sean was so great. He was informative and knowledgeable. Lunch was amazing and a dip by the nearby creek. We went to extra places when the cable from the ferry snapped and the business managed to grab us a small ferry to avoid the long wait while it got fixed. Sean was great. Until next time!

This is the 2nd booking we made with Tropical Journeys, the first being the Calypso snorkelling tours the day before. The booking went smoothly and they gave us a discount for booking 2 tours together. We get another 5% discount when we book on line.

A wonderful new Mercedes van came to pick the 4 of us up at our hotel on the dot at 7.30am. The driver & guide alighted & introduced himself as Kerry. There were 8 of us on this van and we were all very comfortably seated. Throughout the trip Kerry knew all our names & spoke to us like we were real people not some pre- recorded commentary. He also has a great sense of humour. He was very knowledgable about the rainforest, the animals, the reef, the ecosystems. We learnt a lot from this tour.

We went on the crocodile sighting river tour & saw 2 crocs, a Hebron, some Burramundi fish & some wild orchids growing on mangrove trees. We then drove up to the Cape of Tribulation to the lookout & walked along the beach. Had morning tea of fresh fruits & muffins with tea & coffee under the canopy of large trees with wild turkeys wandering near us hoping for a bite. We are not allowed to feed any wildlife. We went on a 45 min rainforest walk & Kerry was very good at pointing out the plant life. We also learnt about the destruction of the ecosystem by the cyclones, the wild pigs, cane toads. Then it was lunch at a very nice restaurant in the rainforest. After lunch we visited the Daintree ice cream shop. On the way out, we were treated to an road show by an amazingly large Cassowary bird by the road who was posing for us, then ducking into the bush then coming out again for another curtain call. We were about 2 metres way from the bird who are rarely sighted. Reluctantly we had to move off to the Mossman Gorge for another walk. The day ended at 4.45pm and we visited 2 heritage sites in 2 days. What a treat !
