Snorkelling trip

Overall a really good trip, however upon arrival there was very little guidance about how it was going to run until we were all seated on the boat. You do spend a bit of time... read more

Just got back the other day, and I had a great time! Excellent food, very nice crew (volunteers Michael and Marie, you're legends!) and some very nice dive spots (fish bowl is my favorite). The only thing I didn't like so much is that every day new people arrive and other people leave, instead of just being on a boat... More

Overall a really good trip, however upon arrival there was very little guidance about how it was going to run until we were all seated on the boat. You do spend a bit of time dropping people off at Fitzroy island and the Kangaroo explorer but once established on the dive site there are plenty of opportunities for snorkelling. The... More

As a last minute option we had to book Cairns Dive Center for 2 dives. The quality of the boat, the quality of the reef and the service was just average. However, a couple of positive points were Simon, our guide who was very professional, and the fact that they made a whole recall when I got lost.... My advice... More

I did a day trip and it was amazing. The boat tour is long which is because your going to the great outer reef and that takes time. I do recommend taking travel sickness pills as a lot of people on board got sick. The staff was friendly and helpful, I only have my diving licence for a couple of... More

My friend and I went on one of the day trips and did the beginners dive. Our dive instructor made us feel comfortable and confident throughout the dive and I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to try out scuba diving for the first time.

Decked out in very sexy (not) sting suits (it's the beginning of sting ray season, though we didn't see any), this was a FANTASTIC day on the water. So many different colors of reef and plenty of fish to follow around. I got lucky and had a sea turtle swim up by me for a while. We spent about 3... More

The staff at CDC was spectacular! Simone had a great personality and helped the certify divers. Rob was working with the intro divers and made the experience very fun! The water clarity out on the Great Barrier Reef was spectacular! They also took us out to areas that weren't crowded..actually we were the only ones around! Which made the experience... More

We booked a snorkeling day trip and had a great time! The staff on board were friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, they helped to take care of a couple of seasick passengers and some weak swimmers. The 2 snorkeling stops were amazing. We all enjoyed the Great Barrier Reef and this small dive company!

I can't quite express how good this dive centre and its staff is. We paid for the 3 day 2 night liveaboard and it was worth every penny. The boat was a really good size and it wasn't over crowded. The rooms were big and very clean. All of the equipment was in really good condition and well maintained. There... More

Instructors were making fun of other newbies instead of helping them. One girl was even bleeding out of her nose (probably both eardrums ruptured a bit) after her first dive in the sea. Instructors said she can continue, although she could not hear! Very poor! I had problems equalizing my ears also. But when i asked the "instructors", respecticly "the... More
