The staff both in the office and on the boat are great. Really helpful and take you out as quickly as possible. It's a long way out to the reef sites and it's not the newest boat, so it's quite noisy. Starts very early approx 0730. You tie up to another boat, the Kangaroo Explorer, since they take guests out... More

I have been on many other luxury live aboard scuba diving vessels. The Kangaroo Explorer is cheaper than most and you are diving maximum number of dives each day. The food is good and the crew is very helpful. There is a younger trend with this boat, but the professionalism does not lack. The cabins do have AC and are... More

I booked a 3/day and 2/nights aboard the Kangaroo Explorer and my experience exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff, great instructors, really good food (they even accommodated my vegan diet!) and clean sleeping facilities and showers. Lots of places on the boat to relax and enjoy the amazing views. The reefs were impressive and we were always the only boat at... More

Great weather to visit the Reef. From pick up to drop off the staff were very professional and organised. Fitted for kit straight away, given a safety number and briefs were given on the day. We were snorkelling and diving was an option if you wanted too add it on. The crew looked after everyone the whole time. If people... More

I did my dive course only last month, and want to say to the world that CDC is an excellent dive company. The 2 days in the pool and school were fun and the instructors guided our group through the course with expert advise. From the bus pick up, the shop and the school, it all flowed well, the day... Originally I had booked my open water course with cdc. During the course completely fell in love with scuba diving and decided to upgrade and do my advanced course as well. Our open water course was absolutely awesome. Learned how to dive whilst having an absolute blast. Our instructor Carlos was spectacular!! If you wanna become a good diver but... More

Such an unprofessional company and crew. We were lied to about pricing and were cheated out of our second dive. They said our advertisement was out of date even though we have 2 separate flyers and there is no blackout date on either of them. The dive location was mediocre, I have been to the GBR before and saw much... More

The comments made by yourself are as a result of us being black mailed for a refund after your agent had made an incorrect booking. The tour was as listed, the times of the tour were correct and the components correct. A normal person would have boarded a vessel at a said time and if different would have discovered the... More

Did not have a good time diving with this company! I booked a 4 day open water course to get certified. I was not expecting to have 3 different groups of people and 3 different instructors in one 4-day course to be honest. The 3rd instructor didn't even look at my paperwork and had no clue what I had been... More

Under the professional guidance of Marisa from Cairns Dive Centre two of us received the best intro to diving anyone could wish for. The short adventure on the kayaks out to shark fin bay had us exploring the reef system close to shore. Thanks for a fantastic and most memorable experience. If anyone wants to dive the barrier reef out... More
