A wonderful example of FNQ waterfalls, very accesible with a 1,000m wheel-chair friendly bitumen path to three viewing platforms. The first, lower stairs lead to the swimming hole which can be very dangerous following heavy rain. Visitors should be aware the river can rise several...More

Great spot where you can swim and slide. Fair drive from Cairns. Water was cold. Dont forget your towel.

The falls are pretty spectacular and are much bigger than they look in the photos. The falls go over several split levels and the bottom part of the falls is where you can swim. There is a large swimming hole area here and you can...More

A nice little walk to the Josephine Falls. We had planned to visit these falls and were impressed. Always wear good walking shoes to any falls visit and take a small towel to dry your feet if you decide to put a toe in the...More

Josephine Falls is a natural beauty. The crystal clear water cascading over the boulders makes for a magical sight. Take the walk and indulage your senses. Maybe even take a dip in one of the little swimming pools at the bottom of the falls.

Everything about this area is pure 100% north Queensland, the sorounding wild country is beautiful BUT do not swim if it has a strong current that can trap a swimmer under rocks drowning them.Take some drink and food as its in a wild area

We spent a good part of half a day. The walk itself is short but we spent a lot of time sliding down the rocks and swimming around. While crocs arent usually spotted in such fast moving water, keep your wits about you.
