We booked the Daintree Walkabout tour with Down Under Tours (booked through AAT Kings), which includes the most informative walk in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area Mossman Gorge, a scrumptious lunch at Silky Oaks Lodge, and a very exciting river boat trip to see huge, prehistoric crocs in their own environment. All of the tour components are interesting and... More

We were picked up by our Driver (AL) who gave us lots of information on our journey about places of interest and what to expect on the day...we were all thoroughly impressed with his amount of knowledge that he just naturally rolled with. The tour did cost a little but when our luxury coach picked us up we felt a... More

This tour clearly states its "around" 10 hours on its website and on your printouts in actuality it is 6 hours and 30 minutes. They also tell you that you can get to rainforest station and back when in actuality on rainforest stations limited shuttle times you have the window to catch one bus and then you have no time... Hi Irish311, Thank you for your review. I am however a little confused and also very worried that you think we have lied about the times and options. We only have two tours listed on our website that include Rainforestation; both tours pick up around 07:30 am (depending on your hotel location) and return to the Hotel at approximately 17:30,... Kuranda itself? Ok, it seems to be a bit of a tourist area. But it provided a spot to buy the souvenirs I wanted for my Australia trip. And at least they weren't terribly low-quality or high-priced like some vacations I've gone on. The railway? Now that's an amazing ride. The history of how they constructed that railway; how difficult... More

We booked the Tjabukai Skyrail and Train tour through a Cairns tours brochure. It was a very full day with pickup at our hotel about 8.30 and return after 5.30. The bus drivers were friendly and knowledgable and explained exactly how the different stages of the trip would work. We booked at 9 pm the day before and our tickets... More

These guys are the best of the best. Booked a day tour to go to Kuranda Village on the Sykrail and back on the Skytrain. They make the trip so easy and relaxing. From the hotel pickup, to the huge comfortable buses, everything was quick and easy. Highly recommend this tour company.

Great way to spend the day. We started with a visit to the Tjapukai Aboriginial Park where we learned and got our tribal paint. We took the sky rail up and straight to holding a koala and feeding the wallabies. Make sure you save time for the great shopping in the Kuranda village and then onto the train for a... More

The Tour operator had a good knowledge of the local area as well as the tours we were taking (Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail). They were on time and were friendly, they also answered any questions we had. It was a long day and there was a lot to get done, so It helped that these people knew where... More

The bus drivers that took us to the station were very nice and funny. The train up was incredible, just what I had hoped for; beautiful and old fashioned. The market town Kuranda was good to look around, and there are some cool local made items. Shout out to Kuranda Coffee Republic, a very cool little cafe just past the... More
