Great way to spend the day. We started with a visit to the Tjapukai Aboriginial Park where we learned and got our tribal paint. We took the sky rail up and straight to holding a koala and feeding the wallabies. Make sure you save time for the great shopping in the Kuranda village and then onto the train for a... More

The Tour operator had a good knowledge of the local area as well as the tours we were taking (Kuranda Scenic Railway and the Skyrail). They were on time and were friendly, they also answered any questions we had. It was a long day and there was a lot to get done, so It helped that these people knew where... More

The bus drivers that took us to the station were very nice and funny. The train up was incredible, just what I had hoped for; beautiful and old fashioned. The market town Kuranda was good to look around, and there are some cool local made items. Shout out to Kuranda Coffee Republic, a very cool little cafe just past the... More

We highly recommend this company. Both the day trips to Kuranda and Daintree, Mossman and Cape Tribulation were perfect. Our guides were friendly, knowledgable and very well organized.

The visit to Kuranda is well worth it and we chose Down Under Tours simply because of the inconvenience of parking a motorhome at the location. However, we were first to be picked up and because of some mixup along the way, it took 90 minutes to reach our destination! Our outbound driver was excellent and very friendly. The return... More

This was a very busy day, but the bus was comfortable and the time spent travelling from one location to another was just as entertaining as the sights themselves, with the fount of all knowledge, Daniel, educating and looking after us all thrughout the day. We saw numerous crocodiles and other flora and fauna, with easy walks to view points... More

26 fortunate tourist had Cavel as their Coach Captain and guide for our day trip to the Daintree. What a joy he was as his indigenous background gave us terrific insights into the history and customs of the region. His friendly out-going personality brightened our day and he even remembered all of our names, quite a feat! The company provided... More

On our trip to Kuranda, we knew it was going to be interesting as it was absolutely pouring in the morning. The bus picked us up from our hotel late, but our guide/driver was polite and knowledgable. Upon arriving at the train, we had time to have a quick look at the station before boarding the train. The prerecorded guide... More

This company picks you up & drops you back at your accommodation if you're staying on the northern beaches. A great service if you don't have a car. Staff were polite & friendly & there were a wide variety of tours to choose from, all of which were reasonably priced.

Despite the unseasonal rain at the start of the day the itinerary was well paced. Daniel is a legend in his own lunchbox! Knowledgeable and entertaining and genuinely interested in his group members. Perhaps provision of soft drinks for kids at morning and afternoon tea rather than just tea or coffee would be accommodating. So despite a difficult weather day... More
