Rustys is the perfect place to great fresh local produce. We go here on a Friday morning to get the weeks worth of fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and eggs. Plus they have great trendy food and drink stalls

I was very impressed when I visited Rusty's. By far the best fruit and veg market I have seen. There were food stalls and clothing and jewellery that I really didn't pay much attention to so can't comment on that. But the produce side was amazing. I found prices cheap and food fresh. Some of the vendors had samples of... More

This market has a large fresh fruit and vege area. All at pretty good prices. Apparently very popular with the locals to do their shopping. There is also an area with local crafts, clothes, jewellery, flowers, bakery foods etc. Stall holders are very friendly and offer a good range of goods. Prices range from reasonable to a little on the... More

We had an excellent sugar cane juice and other fruit juices, just the place to quench your thirst in the hot climate. Bought lots of fruits and had an excellent meal here as well

If you don't take a trip to Rustys Market when you are in Cairns you will have missed out on a great experience. The sights, smells and ambience of this place is amazing. Fruit here is so much fresher and cheaper and more exotic than supermarkets. Lots of handmade and artisan goods for sale. Go see Cameron at his Green... More

This market is a true farmers market with fresh fruit and vegetables. Not many booths with cooked/prepared food. Great if you are wanting to cook a fresh meal at home or want fresh produce, but not a great tourist destination for vacationers
