Van park was on the Southern end of the town and a most pleasant venue. Popular tourist sites where mostly less than 40 minutes away. Weather was better there than Millaa Millaa. Modern shopping centre with a surprising array of general shops in the town....More

Drove from Trinity Beach past Kuranda through Mareeba and Atherton and down to Innisfail returning through Cairns. We took a full day and made many stops. Waterfalls, platypus, fig trees, and all the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this region.

The Tablelands is a great food basket and it is a very mixed area of food and sights. Take your time because there are a few places to stop and drain in. Don't just stay on the main drag but get off into some of...More

We hired a car for a couple of days and over the next couple of days drove ourselves around the tablelands. Found so much to do and great signage. Mother Nature is wonderful!

We just stayed at On The Wallaby. It was economy friendly, clean, cosy, super friendly and the food is sourced locally and is excellent. Not over the top prices either. Highly recommended!
