The 5 day 'learn to dive' course really is excellent value! You get 2 days in the pool with instructors to learn the basics, then 3 days on the boat for the real thing. The instructors are all wonderful, energetic and friendly. The boat is comfortable with twin share rooms, perfect for couples or friends. The schedule is very busy,... More

One of my best dive experiences. My partner and I are advanced open water divers and enjoyed 3 dives earlier this month. The team were very helpful, friendly and professional. The dive gear was in good condition and no washing or assembling of gear was required. The reef was absolutely breathtaking.

Absolutely fantastic experience which I would recommend to anyone. The instructors were all lovely right from the start when they picked us up from our hostel. Couldn't fault them. We had Jess as our instructor and she was hilarious. She makes you feel relaxed and confident even if you've never been near a BCD! There is no better way to... More

I had a great time . Although I didn't have an updated ticket for diving I still got to dive after an intense briefing . We didn't leave the side of the vessel until everyone was confident and the dive mate was happy . He pointed out all the amazing things down there . A must to be on everyone's... More

I did the 5 day open water + adventure diver course with Perry Roos. Perry was a great instructor - clear, knowledgable and entertaining. The training dives on the reef were great fun and were a good balance of skills and exploring the reef. I really enjoyed living on the boat and making new friends. It's so nice to start... More

For anyone thinking of getting their open water dive ticket, upgrading their qualification or wanting to dive the Great Barrier Reef I can not imagine a better way to do it than with Pro Dive Cairns. For our open water training we spent 2 days in the classroom and the pool then 3 days/2 nights living onboard the boat out... More

I was hesitant about trying diving but this was one of the best things I've done in Australia and worth every cent. As an open water student you'll spend 2 days in the training centre pool and classroom learning all the theory and using them in the pool. Day 3 you'll board the boat for over 2 hours out to... Did the 5 day PADI Open Water certification. Was taught very well in the 2 days in the training pool and classroom, then we moved onto the 3 day live aboard boat trip. The experience was unbelievably good and it's the instructors that make this trip more than Pro Dive itself. The best thing is that your instructor stays with... More

We were a bit hesitant to go diving on a 3 days live-aboard with Pro Dive being certified divers, because we read so many reviews of people doing courses. It turned out to be amazing. We have seen beautiful stuff and, next to the reef and it's inhabitants, the people made it a great experience. The staff was friendly, funny... More

I completed the open waters diving course through ProDive Cairns in August 2016. I’m from a land locked state in the U.S.A and never scuba-dived before the class. I cannot recommend ProDive Cairns and the instructor, Rob Welton enough. I was nervous about the experience but was given confidence by the organized and professional nature of the staff and facilities.... More
