It was such a great day at the Barrier reef, friendly crew, lots of food and plenty of things to do. The only thing that I was disappointed was the short time of diving. I took a scuba dive course which it was around 15 minutes under the water, This has to be longer a bit.

Try this company for your reef visit. Very organized and safety oriented. Staff was great. The Evolution is a large boat but did not feel crowded at all. You get your snorkel and fins immediately and place them in your cubby then once they give the go ahead you get them and get in the water off the lowered platform.... More

Signed up for the PADI Open Water Dive Course and had an amazing four days building my dive skills with our amazing instructor Francesco. After building the foundation with two days in the pool and classroom we set out on an epic two day dive tour of the Reef where we honed our skills and had a breathtaking underwater journey.... The trip itself was wonderful, we snorkeled in 2 spots that were very pretty, we had food and snacks as advertised, all the staff was very nice. But we were taken into a snorkeling tour, thinking it was the one included in our ticket and apparently it was another that you needed to pay for. It was not written anywhere,... More

Worst and most extortionate tour since i've been in australia. After paying for the tour in full months ago, we arrived at the dock to check in only to find out we had to pay a $20 dollar "reef tax" each. I can only assume this works like motor tax and that my engine excretes some kind of emissions that... More

Hi Shane, Although I am disappointed that we were not able to attend to your grievances on the day of travel, i am frustrated by your review which includes many inaccuracies and attempts to place blame on us for issues out of our control. It is obvious that you did not research your tour before you booked as all the... More

Our trip was organised through Viator who used Nautilus, and we booked it from the UK not having a clue as to how good or otherwise it would be. We struck gold. It was AMAZING. We went on the cruise vessel Evolution, which was roomy and had the friendliest and most helpful crew out. We visited two reefs :Saxon and... More

Had a great day out with down under dive. Went to two snorkel shots which were great. Paid $25 to do a snorkel tour with Marine biologist Abby which was great to get to know what I was looking at! Had a good spread for lunch. Bought travel sickness tablets on board. Rented a stinger suit for $10. Overall great... More

The Great Barrier Reef exceeded all my expectations and the Dive Down Under team on board Evolution were all fantastically helpful and friendly. The two reef sites had wonderful coral and an abundance of tropical fish to view. The lunch on board is excellent. Highly recommend the snorkel tour with the resident marine biologist
