We took a full-day tour of Daintree and Cape Tribulation with Cathy. The day was really interesting and Cathy was an amazing tour guide - she grew up in the rainforest so she had an amazing perspective on everything we experienced. The river cruise through Daintree was a highlight (saw a crocodile!) and we also enjoyed learning about the aboriginal... More

Billy Tea Safaris had already been highly recommended by my friend in Sydney. We had 48hrs in Port Douglas and wanted to see the Barrier Reef too! We arrived at our acommodation around 6pm - I called Billy Tea having picked up a brochure at the car hire office. My call was answered by the very helpful Neville who was... More

Great day out, very knowledgeable guide. Feed Wallabies, see lots of wildlife, cruise the Daintree river looking for crocodiles in the wild, great Aussie BBQ lunch, walk in the Daintree rainforest, swim in a picturesque and safe freshwater creek, taste tropical fruits and walk on Cape Tribulation beach. This tour has it all and more. Do yourself a favour and... More

Had an awesome day with our guide Matthew. He was incredibly knowledgable and hilarious. The sites were breathtaking but he really made the trip unique and enjoyable! 10/10 would go again!

The guide, Finlay, talked during almost the entire trip and had a deep knowledge about the places we visited. The Emmagen Creek was the main highlight as the water was fresh enough to drink and crystal clear.

Our tour guide, Neville, was delightful. We were picked up at our accommodating in Port Douglas and it was a relatively short drive. Or it felt short because Neville was talking to us the entire time. The crocodile tour was uneventful but relaxing. We chose the wrong time of year to spot crocs. Though, we did see a wide variety... Very knowledgeable guide. Saw the largest spider I've ever seen, you are in the rain forest so be aware of the wild life. Beautiful scenery. We Had a very clear day it was hot and had great views. I would advise insect repellent. Great day out well worth doing not really suitable for very young children as it's a long... More

This tour was recommended and booked for us through our hotel at Palm Cove. We were picked up outside the hotel by our guide, Nev, who was brilliant. He has a wealth of knowledge and funny stories to keep you amused on the fairly lengthy journey to Cape Tribulation. He talks about the history and local culture in an interesting... More

Amazing day. The guide, Kathy, was very very kind and she explained everything to us, about the forest, cape tribulation, etc. The tour is perfectly organised. We would definetively do it again! Thank you so much.

Several pieces of advice about this trip. (1) If you really want to see crocodiles, then don't do this trip if high tide at Port Douglas is close to 9AM (~between 6AM and noon). It is very hard to see crocodiles on the cruise at high tide. If high tide is in that range, you may want to visit a... More
