My husband and I went on a day trip through the outback to the Chillagoe Caves. We were with a small group which was nice since we got to chat with our friendly tour guide. The sites were beautiful; from the drive through the rainforest, to the wetlands and, of course, the outback and caves. We learned a lot and... More

If you want to see all the highlights of the daintree in a day, be well fed and be entertained. These guys did their job. We were lucky enough to see crocodiles and hatchlings on the river cruise, the alexander range boardwalk daintree walk was nice and educational. Lunch was a great barbeque and there was no shortage of food.... More

We booked this rainforest tour as a final thing to do before heading back to the UK. We had travelled for three weeks from Melbourne to Cairns and stopped off at many towns and cities such as Sydney and Byron Bay on the way. Anyway, this tour from Cairns was the last thing we did on holiday and I am... More

We had six nights in Port Douglas and Billy Tea Safaris was the first excursion set up by the travel agent. I knew I wanted to see the Barrier Reef but had no idea how the reef was part of an ecosystem with the rain forest too. The tour mixed humor, breathtaking sightseeing, scientific information, awesome lunch, interesting fellow guests... More

The day was excellent. I must admit to being a bit skeptical beforehand but I thoroughly the whole day. Finn was an excellent guide, full of interesting and entertaining information all day long. The crocodile boat trip was amazing - 3 huge croc sited and some little ones as well. Daintree forest walk was very informative and the siting of... More

What a horrible trip! Your spend most of the day in the bus and you just walk in the daintree rainforest for 15-20 minutes. The guide was horrible, the stops full of people and the cruise... a total fake. Moreover, the price of this tour is higher than the rest and does not offer anything special than the others Finally,... More

Your review is not giving me the exact reason you did not like the tour. There must have been some aspects that you enjoyed as everyone else seems to have a great day. You did not mention the guides name or the day you traveled with your name so I cannot get any feedback from him to check if there... More

The trip is a must do when you are in the area and if you love nature. Neville was very kind, accommodative and informative. I had a wonderful time as a solo traveler. The booking was simple via email. Neville picked me up on the dot, and from there I just kicked back, relaxed and enjoyed the tour. Learning that... More

I don't need to go into the details of the trip because RobJ's review below completely nails it.. So I'll expand on one point.. DO plan on going swimming in the freshwater creek so take beach towels and wear or bring a suit... they had no problem with us sitting on our wet towels in the van afterward... only 5... More
