We had a phenomenal time on this tour. Our tour guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. It was great way to see more of the Queensland countryside. The river cruise was relaxing and our guide was excellent as he pointed out a number of the unique flora and fauna as well as many of the animals such as a saltwater... More

I took a Hungarian bunch to the Daintree/ Cape Tribulation tour with Billy Tea's. We had Matthew as our driver guide. He's not only superb behind the wheel but is incredibly knowledgable, helpful and a great person. During this trip you can really leave the everydays behind and just marvel at nature. It is amazing to reach these mesmerizing places... More

I really enjoyed this day trip. Matthew was a fun & informative guide, and none of it felt rushed. We did see 2 crocodiles in the river, though I had expected to see more. In fact, I expected to see more wildlife overall. Other than the 2 crocs all we saw was a lizard. This trip is a good way... More

The guide was great he was very nice and informational and the boat was fun but we did not see one crock, but this trip was a little boring for us.Spent most of the time on the bus, and when we did stop we felt rushed. This tour would be great for older couples, people with kids, or people who... More

The Daintree day trip from Cairns is well worth the time and money! It's a lot of driving, which is to be expected when you start so far from the destination. Matthew is an excellent guide; he was very knowledgeable, clearly put forth an effort to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves, willingly answered our questions and also recognized when people just... We had a wonderful day with Brett as our guide visiting the Daintree rainforest as well as cape Tribulation. Great scenery with lots of diverse things to experience...River cruise, Feeding Wallabies, River swim, Tasting wild fruit, ice cream stop, Beach at Cape Tribulation. Only negative was that the road was a bit bumpy so be prepared! Highly recommend!

Great adventure! Walk through rain forest, learned plants, met so local wildlife - wallabies, birds, pythons - a great steak lunch, Billy Tea, a stop at a "swimming hole", got to taste some unusual fruits, and a stop at Captain Cook's Cape Tribulation! Mark was a terrific guide and host.

It was an early start with a 7am pickup, nothing was rushed or felt like there was a time to be kept to. We had a fantastic and knowable guide in Neville who keep us entertained all day with his facts and stories. He is also a bit of a whiz on the BBQ when he cooked us steaks and... More

Today we toured the daintree rain forest and Cape tribulation. It was a very full day. Our guide Matthew did a fabulous job. Didn't even bother us that we didn't see any crocs on the river.

Billy Tea Safaris are not heavily advertised but a local "in the know" recommended them to me as "the best". So glad they did, this was one of the highlights of our holiday. It's a full day trip leaving Cairns around 7am (exact time depends on pick up point). They use odd looking 6 wheeled, 4 wheel drive vehicles specially... More
