I feel super lucky to live nearby and use this regularly. It's filled with little rest stops which are perfect for taking in the views.

I do this walk most times when in Brisbane, it's a highlight for me. Never get sick of the scenery and can stop for water and body weight exercises along the way.

The river walk is a delightful walk, giving wonderful views of the river, and old houses/buildings along this part of the river. I started my walk at Howard Smith Wharves, which is Riverside end of the walk. I walked the length of the river walk...More

Surprisingly quiet on a very hot sunday. However it was beautifully cool under the huge Jacarandas. Plenty of vacant gas bbq's - which we did not use as we were on our way to the powerhouse theatre.

The walk is a great way to get on the river and stay dry. amazing walk over the river but he real reward is the howard smith wharves at the end. Worth the walk and then enjoy a drink under the Storey Bridge

We took the City Cat ferry here which in itself is a very nice trip. We then strolled along the river bank and around the park land which was very enjoyable. Only problem the cafe was not open as it was Boxing Day so we...More

I regularly use the River Walk. It's a convenient way to get into town and now Howard Smith's Wharves development is complete, there are now welcoming places to eat, drink and be entertained at the end of the walkway.

We usually park at New Farm Park and walk into the city and back. A great option is to combine the walk with a trip on the Ferry. There is a great little cafe near the ferry stop in the park.
