Great tour around the factory with a very informative guide called Anthony. Lots of history with some bad jokes thrown in too. (Sorry Anthony😉) Finish off with a few samples in the Ale House.
Also had a meal before the tour which was very good too. Well worth a visit.

Thanks for the review!
Anthony has sculpted his Dad jokes for a while now, he'll be happy you mentioned them.
Also, the bar and restaurant are open to the public, feel free to pop in for a pizza and beer some time!

A very interesting and informative tour, full of history, facts and modern updates. Josh was a great tour guide - thanks Josh. We enjoyed trying the beers at the end and the burgers and chips were delicious and perfect for absorbing some of the alcohol for those amongst us not used to it. We are still talking about the chips the next day.

The XXXX Brewery tour was very informative on the history of beer, and on the process of making beer. It had a good variety of information and humour, to keep it interesting. The video explaining the history is prior to the tour. The ticket included beer of you choice at the bar after the tour. We didn't allow enough time and missed out on having lunch at the restaurant. Make sure you leave time after the tour to enjoy the Beer and food. Tour goes for an hour. Fabulous tour to do.

I enjoyed this tour, the use of a multimedia presentation sets this tour apart from some other breweries I've visited. I grew up in Brisbane and so XXXX and the XXXX Man, were ever present in advertising and the like. It was cool to finally see inside the brewery and learn more about it's history. Whether or not the beer they make is to your liking, this brewery is a part of the fabric of Queensland and definitely worth a visit.
The Parking is tricky, there is visitors parking near the entrance to the visitors centre but this was full on my tour. Metered parking is very limited. (I got lucky) and the parking at the nearby Officeworks is 1 hour only. As the tour is 90 minutes this parking is not the best option.

Just finished the tour and it was amazing. Very interesting and informative tour, made fun by our tour guide. It was really nice to see the bottling plant in operation. Well worth a visit if in the area.

Thanks to the 90-minute tour we learned all there is to know about the history of beer in Australia as seen through the eyes of XXXX. The tour requires a certain amount of dexterity as numerous stairways are involved and it is best done while production areas are operating, ruling out Fridays and Saturdays. There is also tasting after the tour, during which we discovered we are more than a little partial to Summer Light Lager with Mango. All in all it was well worth the time and the $32 each, even if our guide’s repartee could use some work. Just kidding, Nick.

I would recommend anyone visiting Brisbane to go along to the XXXX Brewery to do the tour. Its only $27 and includes 4 drinks in the cool Ale House bar and restaurant. There was live music and we stayed for a great value but yummy lunch afterwards. The tour is made more fun with good digital enhancements and videos. Such a cool Queensland thing to do at such a great price!!

My partner and I went on a half-price Scoopon. We are locals but had never been to the brewery.
We got there early and staff were professional and friendly when we ordered lunch before the tour. Food was quickly brought to the table and absolutely delicious. Reasonably priced for the city. A nice relaxed atmosphere to enjoy lunch in too.
The tour itself was professional and entertaining, and our tour guide Shan was a bank of knowledge with a good sense of humour. We also enjoyed the tasting at the end! I am not a huge beer drinker but have discovered I really like the XXXX Summer with lime.
We will be going back for lunch in a few weeks with family and friends for lunch as we enjoyed ourselves so much! It is definitely worth a visit and a great casual date afternoon.

The tour starts with a presentation on the history of beer than a video on the history of the company. Tour then goes through different areas of the brewery and finishes with beer tasting next to the restaurant.
