My cousin took my wife and I our to Manly Boat Harbour while we were visiting on holiday from NZ. The harbour and boats are quite impressive themselves and the views stunning. My cousin then took us out sailing on a 45 footer boat. Wow! No swells and just enough of a breeze. We had an incredible experience. Have a... More

We travelled to Manly, a community by the sea, south-east of the Brisbane CBD, on a beautiful, warm Sunday afternoon and took in all the local sights - you can find something for most tastes in the Manly Harbour Village - live music, great food and a genuine "holiday" atmosphere. A short drive from the Brisbane CBD, Manly is a... More

Moreton Bay is part of our Back Yard. Great for Walks, Ride your bike along the 5 klms of foreshore. Stop off and have a coffee at the Cafe's. Manly Farmers Markets are on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. Hire a Kayak and paddle around from Lota to Wynnum. Have a picnic in the many Parks.

We often go for walks out along Manly shore, taking the dog and going to the markets. We have visited a few restaurants out that way also. A lovely area by the bay. the marina is small, but colourful.

Moreton Bay is just stunning..especially on a beautiful sunny day. Even more stunning is Manly Village and the boat harbour. There are plenty of places to eat...all price ranges...even great parks for a picnic. The waterside walkway is very popular with walkers & families.

The Village has several islands located 4kms off it's foreshore - charter tours are freely available and depart from the jetty within one of the World's largest Marinas. Nice place to wander at the bayside. Cafes, pubs, and lovely local shops. Check out the weekend markets, and the annual Halloween Parade is an amazing spectacle!
