When travelling to Brisbane and waiting for afternoon flights I find I can effectively complete work at the Library. Great location and enjoy the surroundings

This library is great - it has some lovely views of the river, free wifi and easy access to resources. The silence of the upper levels promotes concentration. If you need a break, there is GOMA, the Art Gallery and great coffee at your fingertips.

The State Library is one of my favorite places for working away from my office. They have private business rooms you can book online at no cost, a great cafe, sensational business area and much much more

Very much enjoyed all that was on offer at the library. Well decked out and excellent for all age groups. Was a shame that it was not open until 10am. Especially when this state refuses to have Daylight Saving, it feels like half the day has gone by the time the library opens.

I love the State Library. I often go to drink tea and write. The Writers Festival held there in Septemebr is excellent. There is much on offer here. Check it out. It's a nice place to meet friends for breakfast too.

I stopped in at the library as I was walking between the gallery of modern art and the Queensland art gallery and ended up spending more than an hour looking at exhibitions housed in the library. I looked at 3 exhibitions, one on souvenirs of war, another of indigenous art on possum skins and the third was creative interpretation of... More

I've recently been having study meetings at this lovely library. It offers computers, wifi, many books and the chance of having a lovely view to look at while studying. It also has a great little cafe which offers delicious food and good coffee. I'm happy I've discovered this place!

Viewed externally, it would pique the interest if anyone interested in architecture or wishing to imbibe in an hour or two of knowledge-gathering. Inside, nothing disappoints. Won't spoil it for others but this is certainly worth a visit.

Had a sticky beak as we wandered around the city (love libraries). Some excellent spaces to study with wonderful views of the river and city. Staff very accommodating and explained how various sections worked. Has some display on WW1 which was interesting. Probably not somewhere you'd look at unless you have heaps of time to spare.
