I love this place. Last week I even saw an enormous koala in a tree near the summit. I usually enter the forest from Azanian Street and the walk up is quite easy. Watch your step, though, as the gravel on the track is loose...More

I did a morning walk here with my wife. There was plenty of parking and the tracks are well posted so you dont get lost. There are some flat sections in amongst the hills.

Went for a bush walk here and although I did get lost and turned my joke into a two hour one, I absolutely loved this forest! Start at the Toohey Picnic Area as there's good parking and walk through the beautifully maintained grounds.

There are some great walking treks through here. Lovely to get into the bush so close to the city. There are also covered picnic areas and bbqs for use which is great. Several times we've packed our bacon and eggs into an eskie, gone for...More

Who can guess it, a beautiful nature national park right in the middle of the city. Bush walking here is just wonderful on the weekend. Make sure you wear fully covered shoes. May be a bit of insects repellent would be ideal.
