I definitely prefer their production of beer with respect to more “famous Newsteader” rivals. Like, by far. But the ambient is very kitsch and speaking about food... no you cannot actually talk about food... :(

Through groupon, did a beer sampling and brewery tour yesterday with Seán. Enjoyed lots of different beers, and had a lot of fun learning about the Brewing process from Sean. Finished off with a couple of plates of prawns and oysters. Highly recommended.

Great place to start the evening. Bustling. Packed to the rafters. Loved the beer. Shame to cider was not available on the night.

A very relaxed place to enjoy a wide range of craft beers. They have a couple of special brews that they make in more limited quantities. Its dog friendly so expect to see a few and you can buy some brews to take home with...More

Besides the cool industrial look, the Green Beacon has a great selection of beers, a different food truck/vendor at their door every night, plays some great tunes (not top 40), and it is a dog-friendly place. What more could you want? Also, you can get...More

My husband and I popped in here while out on a walk and enjoyed a lovely cold beer. We also had a seafood platter to share and it was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful. It wasn't overly busy as at night either.

Our families came together to celebrated a birthday. Very crowded with a mixture of people from young families to more mature plus those that brought along their dog 🐶. Beers were cold and great to taste the different varieties. Not much choice on the food...More

This is an awesome micro brewery with a good selection of brews, including cider, wine and beers. All are good value with the opportunity to take a tasting plate. The atmosphere is nice as the building is an old converted warehouse, it is in a...More

Great wall art, a drinker’s eye view of the massive kegs you are working on emptying, good atmosphere and great beer. We had a food truck outside with South American food which was excellent. You must experience Green Beacon!

Hi Sandra, yes families and the little ones are more than welcome to join us at the brewery, provided they are supervised by a responsible adult. Cheers, Hayden
