A very tranquil and relaxing park. Easy to forget that you're within a busy city. Only complaint was the very average muffin at the cafe was way overpriced.

Roma Street Parklands often hosts a number of special events and festivals for families, which are always fun. Sometimes though life for us is us about slowing down - to toddler pace. Today we visited the Parklands and just meandered through the grounds. Life slowed down to the toddle of my one year old as she explored the textures and... More

I thought what was so great about a park and this one is something which leaves your mouth gaping when you think there's nothing so great about a park. It's so huge yet every single bit made me love it!

If you are going to be honest these parklands are amazing they leave the Botanic Gardens in both Brisbane and Sydney (my city) in their wake. Gardens lovers a must see.

Considering these gardens are only 15 years old , they are amazing . There are several different sections , my favourite is Fern Gully . Beautifully tended and spotless , there are water features, a huge grassy area and a lake . There's a cafe/restaurant too .

Worth taking a relaxing walk through the park to destress and enjoy brisbane and Australian plants and animals. Great location to destress or even have a picnic

Great area to stroll through and admire what has been achieved in an old railway area. Wall of recognition of Queenslanders and organisations who have contributed to, or influenced Queensland as we know it is worth viewing.

Brisbane City's version of Central Park which is just right next to Roma Street Bus and Train Station. It has lush vegetation with various sectors for flowering plants, sub-tropical mini-forest, lake and others. The park also features an ampitheatre, and wide grassy area for picnic. Tip: enter the park through Wickham Terrace so that the walking route throughout the visit... More

We were 5 photographers in Brisbane for the afternoon wondering where we were going to go to firstly relax and secondly take some photos. This place offered both and 4 of us had never been there before. It was a glorious day with not even a cloud in the sky and there were various people out enjoying the great day.... More
