Definitely worth dropping in to have a look at the internals of this building. While i was there there were artists doing dry runs of their performances which was interesting to watch. You can grab a drink or have a coffee with river views

The Powerhouse is many things. I’ve been there to see shows, and it’s a lovely quirky venue where the spaces are small enough to feel a connection with the performers. I’ve had drinks and meals there and found it fine, if a bit pricey. The...More

What a wonderful space. There were no shows on when we visited so it was quiet and we were able to wander around the building admiring the old brick walls, the remnants of the power station and the fabulous view from the rooftop terrace. The...More

My mum and I came for a walk with my toddler. We decided to pop in for lunch with a view. Overall we had a nice time. We had steak sandwiches and beer, service was good too.

Just visited to see the building and didn’t enter any happening. Nice old industrial building taken to other use but without any other action to visit, nothing much to see.

I just love going to Powerhouse for a show (this time it was Richard Fidler and Kari Gislason’s ‘Sagaland’). It’s possible to get a reasonably priced quick meal before the show with a very decent wine. The location on the riverbank is second to none-...More

We recently visited the powerhouse for a morning coffee and a stroll around the new farm markets on a Saturday morning. Located close to the river the powerhouse has coffee shops and is a pleasant place to walk around. The New Farm farmers markets were...More

Parking is on site but very limited. You are better off parking near New Farm Park and get early to enjoy the pleasant walk
