My wife and I met friends here for lunch,The beers were great and nice and cold although a little pricey, The food was great also and the burger was melt in your mouth and the chips were yum also. We were all very satisfied with our choices and it is well worth a visit with nice views of the Brisbane river.

I always love going to the Powerhouse. Great atmosphere, staff and I always enjoy the events. Just watched the Ocean Film Festival World Tour. What an amazing film. If you're passionate about the Ocean and the environment this is a must.

Brisbane Powerhouse is located in a former power station in the Brisbane's neighborhood of New Farm by the river. The venue offers an array of performing arts, visual arts, festivals, and free community events. The Powerhouse is now a multi purpose center for arts, housing Theatre, Hall, outdoor plaza, green spaces, rooftop terrace, bar and restaurant. Free parking is available beside. Interesting place. We just visited Alto restaurant and really enjoyed the meal and the view.
