we went for a day trip that included three activities. the wind was up in the morning but sitting around for two and half hours with no options offered was boring. we had our times changed and in the end had time for two activities as one was running late and then we missed the third. we offered to do... Such an awesome day out! We wee rookies and had no idea what to expect, and were shocked when we landed on the island to find all facilities pre booked and paid for. Thank goodness for the cafe on the Micat, and the gorgeous girl working there who advised us to but water and whatever we could from her, to... More

If you want a day out of the city of Brisbane, Moreton Island is the place to go, you catch the boat early in the morning and hit the island, and chose which activities you would like to do throughout the day. Snorkeling through the shipwrecks is a definite highlight especially if you get to see some wobbly sharks its... More

Visited moreton island on a planned tour, however, we had to make our own way to the wharf which is half an hours drive out of Brisbane.€50 each return. The day was ruined by torrential rain. We sat around most of the day until our safari tour at 3.15 but we couldn't toboggan down the dunes because it the weather.(no... More

We travelled with Adventure Moreton Island, Dave picked us up at Roma Train Station. Firstly we had our sandboarding experience at the sand dunes, Dave gave us alot of good information about the island. Sandboarding was fun, but tiring to climb up the dunes. We then went for lunch, sandwiches were provided in a tented area. Up till this point,... More

Really really lovely Island! I would highly recommend the snorkelling, a massive range of fish and if your lucky you'll see turtles and Ray's! If you however do a day tour make sure you double check your timing as we were super rushed so we didn't get to do everything we wanted to.

Fantastic with so many things to do! I would go again tomorrow! You can sit on the beautiful beach or take up one of the natural beauty or be active with resort facilities.

The whales were doing a good show the day visited. The coffee inside the "VIP Lounge" is disgusting, but the tea is alright.

My partner and I had a great day out with the Adventure Moreton Island team. We did a scuba and were blown away by how good the water life was this far south of the Great Barrier Reef. The shipwrecks out at Moreton Island seem to provide a haven for the sea life and the people out there obviously take... More
