About
Here at Ballistic Beer Co. HQ, we don't often take ourselves too seriously, I mean we brew beer after all. We pride ourselves on creating beers that are familiar but also something different, a meeting of old and new. Come down and enjoy Ballistic Beer, we cater to all; young, old, four legged, two legged. Just don't expect it to taste like any other craft beer you've tasted.

Such a family friendly place to stop for a beer. Outdoor and indoor seating, live music, different food trucks, pinball machines and you can see the brewery at the back. Great beers and cider and you can fill up flagons or buy cans to takeaway. It is in an old ammunition factory so it has a bit of history as well.

We heard good things about this boutique brewery at Salisbury, about 4 kilometres from where we live so finally popped in last Friday evening with a few friends. What a cool little place with good beer, great staff, a fab little duo providing music, and a "food truck" (that changes regularly so I hear) for those who wanted a quick and easy light meal.

There were lots of people, many of whom looked like they were regulars having a great time. the crowd covered a wide range of age groups. Best of all some even even brought their dogs - all of them well behaved and friendly there when we went...how civilised is that!

There was plenty of off street parking - it is in a small light industrial estate on the outskirts of the suburb so on street parking is available as well.

For anyone in the surrounding suburbs it is a really great place to go. Try it, I am sure you'll like it. And for those who don't drink beer, wines are available.

Firstly the beers here are a clear five out of five! Tried three or four and they were all great. Unfortunately the food is not so great. Had a green papaya salad where the papaya had been substituted by cabbage. I think they thought no one would notice? The salad was tasteless on top of that and definitely not like the original Thai version.

A micro brewery in an industrial part of town, tucked away off the street. Just a huge shed with the brewery in the corner. Beer and cider were great, soft drinks were very expensive!
There was a food truck there- The Roaming Pig...pulled pork/ beef burgers... they did have kids meals (nuggets and chips for $10) but nothing to cater for vegetarians. Burgers were $14.
Family friendly and the night we went there was love music until the NRL final began. It's not a cheap outing- $3.50 for a packet of crisps, $5 for a tiny packet of nuts.
Ambiance was good but be prepared to spend lots of money.

We love our local brewery and enjoy walking down with the kids and our neighbours for a casual afternoon drink and snacks while the kids play in the open spaces. Usually we stay for the food truck and dinner is sorted. So lucky!

Located in an unsuspecting region of Brisbane and a little out of the way Ballistic Brewing Co is well worth the outing. I rocked up on a Sunday afternoon and the place was a hive of activity. Firstly the beer ranging from pale ales to stouts all extremely tasty making it hard to decided if you should get the same one again or try a different one knowing well it will be just as good. The guys were very friendly and helped us out with any questions we had.

The music started playing in the afternoon which was a great touch to relax and those who were hungry had a food van parked to the front. A great atmosphere with mums, dads, sons, daughters and the family pet (outside) were all in attendance with plenty of room outside to play on.

I will be back and I recommend you sitting down for a cold beer here, when you have the chance.

Ballistic Beer conmpny;s headquarters is an a reburbished wharehouse that was once a WW2 ammunitions factory in Salisbury, a suburb of Brisbane. The motif is WW2, It has been transformed into a neat industrial craft beer enterprise. There is no food served at this location. The beers are very good and the wines too. The service is very good. The owner who was with me welcomed and was known to many of the regular patrons. There is space for events. A good place for a quiet drink or two or three.

Came here for lunch, some in the group liked their meals, others not so much. Probably a better spot for a good drinking session more than a meal out.
