It's amazing view of Brisbane from here. Not like other city, Mt Coot-tha is still very close to the city itself. There is a cafe as well, but a bit pricey.

Some of the best views from this mountain. There's a restaurant (we didn't dine in or buy anything) it did look very busy. Weddings are held there frequently as well. Gorgeous back drop for photos

I have lived in SE QLD for my entire life, and only recently got up to the Mt Cootha lookout. What a beautiful view of the city. A great place for tourists to check out and grab an ice cream!

This is an excellent spot to get a panoramic view of Brisbane. It's a photographer's delight for both sunrise and sunset and can get extremely busy on full moon nights and Riverfire. The hike up from Slaughter Falls is challenging and the view provides a great reward. Avoid the restaurant- it's overpriced and the food is always disappointing.

Lovely view at any time of day or night (barring fog). The drive up is interesting but keep in mind there is likely to be a lot of people heading for the restaurant or cafe as well as to simply enjoy the view. Lots of parking at the 'top' up the road from the lookout if you don't mind a... More

Took the hop on hop off bus up to Mount Coot. It had been raining heavy when we got on the bus and did not have high hopes of what we might see but we were not disappointed even on a grey rainy day the view was spectacular. This trip has not to be missed. There is a eating place... More
